Good location. Rooms clean but a little compact.Day time reception very helpful evening pleasant but seemed to have limited knowledge about boarding passes for the airport. No lift but you are told this before you book. Breakfast fine apart from the tinned fruit Staff helpful and kept restocking the meats etc. Had a Bavarian feel which we wanted in Munich. .

The location is fine and the price reasonable for this city. The rooms are spotlessly clean and quiet and the breakfast is satisfactory. Service is friendly and helpful. There seems to be at least one room in which four people fit, but we, as a couple, had a room smaller than we found comfortable. As many guests note, you need...

- too expensive price for a hotel without lift - very cold staff in this hotel except one, the very friendly Azebaijan guy at the afternoon reception. - asking hot water for tea seemed to be a very boring task for the breakfast lady... though I brought the pot to her and did not ask her to bring it to...

I booked two rooms for a couple of friends and my wife and I for a recent visit to Munich. The hotel is only a short walk from the main railway station on a side street just if the main road. The staff on the reception were friendly and welcoming and the rooms were comfortable, the best part was the...

The room was nice and clean and the location of the hotel was perfect. It is in between the train station and Marienplatz and both were within easy walking distance. The room was a little small for four adults but was manageable since we didn't spend a lot of time there. The breakfast was very good. My biggest complaint is...

Pros: location, free wifi strong signal, abundant and varied breakfast, room & bathroom spotless clean, LCD TV on the large size for the size of the room, comfy beds, great value for money Cons: no elevator (and long flight of stairs!), room & bathroom on the small size (no. 38, 3rd floor), sound-proofing good but not great, insufficient storage space...

A small hotel down a back street close to the station, restaurants and bars. The double room was quite small and had restricted views. The breakfast was excellent. I would recommend a stay here if you are just there for an overnight stop.

Hotel Eder is very convenient to many attractions in central Munich. Less than a 10 minute walk from the train station, 15 minute walk to Hofbrauhaus. The only time we needed to use public transportation was to get outside of town to go to Dachau and the English Garden. The room was sizable, especially for European standards. We had a...

We stayed at Hotel Eder en route to Austria at the end of August and again en route back to UK two weeks later, a total of three nights. The rooms were of adequate size, very clean with a good shower. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful; breakfast was very good. The location was superb, 10 minutes walk from...
