Welcome to domus Hotel the unique city hotel in the heart of Munich. The hotel can be reached by public transportation, just a short walk to the bus station number 100 or to the subway station U4 / U5, Lehel near the monastery church St. Anna. The hotel's district Lehel, the oldest suburb of Munich, is the best location in the city. It provides an individual program for everyone, doesn`t matter if cultural enthusiast or sport freak, tourist or business man. Specially shopping is an Olympic event in Munich. Hotel guests can shop for must-haves on Maximilianstrasse or Prinzregentenstrasse just around the corner. Another hot spot close to the front door is the world famous Eisbach wave. Surfer from all over the world practice there during their stay. Besides the Oktoberfest the beer gardens at the Chinese Tower and at the Kleinhesseloer See attract with its comfortable atmosphere and invite to have a nice evening after an exciting day. For munich visitors the Hotel Domus is a little bit a secret where you can get the most out of your money.

The pictures look high end, but really it is a cheap renovation. Plastic everything,
cheapest tiles in bathroom. Plastic walls in elevator. Dining room and lobby Nice.
Location is excellent, breakfast is fine. Hotel is clean.
I object to the price based on the total package which looks better in photos
than in reality.

Simple, lovely, excellent. Charming staff and welcome. Can't do enough to help! I go here regularly. Superb for business accommodation, but my wife and i have also used the hotel for leisure visits. Amazing location close to the Mitte, Frauenkirche, Marienplatz, Opera House, all the sites.

Overall, a fairly average hotel for a big price. Wouldn't recommend it.
On the positive side: comfortable bed, small balcony with opening onto Lovely Street. Near underground. Good location. Grocery store, drugstore, restaurants very near. Breakfast was pretty good. Had better. Had worse.
On the negative side: room needs some updating. It was mostly clean but needed a lot more. Hair on bathroom floor and cobwebs on wall and ceiling. The worst part was it was very warm at the end of May and no air-conditioning. When asked, they provided a small fan which was mostly ineffective. Lobby was hot. Front desk personnel were fairly sour and seemed to just tolerate non- German speaking guests. The bathroom shower had good hot water and water pressure but had to be turned very low as it would otherwise literally flood the tiny bathroom. Would not stay here again

Dear guest, we lament the fact that we couldn’t measure up to your expectation in a hotel stay at the domus hotel. It is true that our hotel doesn’t have an air conditioning system. We provide a quantity of fans for our guests on warm days instead. Thank you for giving us feedback. This gives us the opportunity to improve our service. Yours sincerely domus hotel

I stayed at this hotel to visit Prinzregententheater, just two underground stations away from the hotel i.e. 6 min. Also, it takes 6 min from the main station using U4 and U5. There are many different types of restaurants around the hotel as well as supermarkets. The hotel room is very clean and modern and offers large enough space, making your stay comfortable. Breakfast ist very decent. I can just recommend this hotel to those looking for value and a good location. Besides, air-conditioner works perfectly.

Best thing about this hotel is its location. Vending machine for any water/snacks and cash only, no card anllowed. Expensive garage parking recommended when checking in (even though on road parking free on Sundays) and spaces in garage very small.

I was staying at the Domus hotel for 6 nights (from 28.8 till 3.9.2004). It is situated in a very nice and quiet Lehel quarter, near the English Garden and St. Anna church. The metro station is quite near (1-2 min of walk). All the people working in this hotel were very friendly and smiling and I was having a feeling that I would like to return to that hotel again and again. Thus, I think you would understand my embarassment, shock and astonishment, when on the 5th day of my stay (on 1.9), while I was having breakfast downstairs, my room was cleaned and 40 euros were stolen from the internal pocket of my jacket. I complained about that in a confidential manner to the lady responsible for cleaning rooms, hoping that the money will be returned, however this did not happen. I think the personnel should be better controlled and these things should not repeat in this otherwise excellent hotel.

The most unfriendly staff - by far - I have ever encountered. Acted annoyed if asked for directions or recommendations, and downright refused to provide any assistance with printing boarding passes for a flight leaving next day! I would never stay there again.

I stayed here for one night because I couldnt find anywhere else to stay. Its a very basic hotel with outdated rooms and no frills. The staff at check in were very unfriendly and unhelpful. The location is not bad with good access to downtown without the associated crowds or noise levels

Dated rooms, very basic. No air con, tea/coffee/shampoo/iron etc as you would expect for upwards of €150 per night.

Our room was over a very noisy building site by day, and a noisy restaurant/bar at night. Builders woke us from 6am with a jackhammer and the bar noise went on until midnight. 36° heat during our visit but despite requests no fan delivered.

We checked out halfway through our 4 day stay having not slept due to the heat in the room and tbe perpetual noise.

HOWEVER....the reason this gets 2 stars is the Staff....so friendly and helpful (with the exception of one) and the breakfast was reasonable.

Dear Guest! Thank you for your stay and your rating! We can note that our hotel meets the standard of a 3 star hotel, or even exceeded. We have shampoo in all our rooms, we have an special room with an ironing board, tea/coffee is available at the reception. Air cons aren't common in a 3 star hotel. Please note, that our hotel is directly in the city of Munich and there are lot of construction sites around us. We can't avoid that. Your team domus Hotel
