I used AMEX travel service to find a hotel close to main shopping area with parking, internet access, breakfast, clean and in a safe area. They suggested this hotel, called and made the booking on my behalf. The main train station and beginning of the shopping area were 10-15 min walking distance away and public transport was available if needed....

Stayed here for one night. Didnt like the hotel at all. There was no wifi in the hotel and the hotel is even charging customers for internet access in the guest computer in the lobby. The quality of the breakfast was also not good. The staff was also not friendly. Cannot recommend this hotel to anyone!

We were a bit worried about the review that said you couldn't walk there from the main train station but our worried were completely unfounded. It is a very easy walk, no more than 5-10 minutes even with luggage. We found the rooms to be clean, warm and comfortable. Ours had a small balcony that we could sit out at which...

Stayed here for Oktoberfest, and with a 5 minute walk to the grounds and 10 minute walk to Hauptbanhoff, you really can't beat the location. Rooms are large and comfortable, though it was a bit loud fronting the main road. Breakfast was quite pleasant with a decent selection of food. My main issues were with the lack of wifi (only...

This hotel was far cheaper than any of the others I considered, and was very good for the price. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. The only downside was that there isn't a restaurant in the hotel (there isn't room) and it took me a while to find somehere nice to eat. For anyone in the same...

The hotel is three tram stops away from Hauptbahnhoff central station. Not far but still you cannot walk to this station. Price was around 110 euros per night including breakfast. The breakfast was very poor, and the staff not very helpful. We believe that it is better to make reservation in a hotel outside the cetral district of the town....

We stayed at the Hotel Senator in October 2007. The hotel is centrally located between Main Station and S-Bahn Station Hackerbrücke. If you want to visit Oktoberfest this would be a perfect location. Hotel Senator is situated at a very busy street. If you want to avoid noise, make sure you get a room to the back. The staff was...

This is a four star property by American standards and a German three star. An excellent hotel, really a hidden jewel, and great value for the money. The hotel is situated very close to the main railway station and within walking distance from most downtown attractions, but in a great hidden corner away from traffic noises. Rooms are just great,...

We stayed at the Senator in July 2004 and found it to be very clean and nicely appointed. The price was very reasonable and the location is near the Hauptbahnhof and Marienplatz. Also, U-Bahn and tram stops only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff was very nice and willing to please. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, trolley lines at corner(2 stops to Main station). One block from Octoberfest Grounds, good rates thru hotel or Munich Tourist Bureau. Nice Breakfast room with decent buffet. I have stayed here twice a year for the past few years and always had an excellent stay. Spotlessly clean. Worth a visit
