Stayed here in August 2016 with a friend in a twin room for 2 nights. Hotel was in a good location, just a couple of minutes walk from the main central station with shops, restaurants and bars around. There was free wifi at the hotel, you have to ask at reception for codes to login. We were on the second... More

We didn't expected a lot of this hotel. It wasn't expensive. Not far from the city center. Breakfast wasn't too bad. And here the positive ends. The room wasn't verry clean. There was a smell in the bathroom. I had to see the reception for toilet paper. When taken a shower, I remarked there was no soap. The staff isn't... More

I stayed at Smart Hotel Schweiz twice in the last two weeks when interviewing for jobs. First of all: this is not a great hotel, it's a very basic one. My single room was quite small and not excactly super modern. However, in a city where you can easily end up paying 30+ Euro for a bed in a 10-bed... More

The location is central and with mine 44 yrs I guess that location is better for younger audience. Good thing about location is that its close to the main trainstation and some of the party zone. Arrived and got room after a journey in a slow elevator. The room was clean enough but had this door frame between bathroom and... More

Paying expensive prices for staying three nights we were extremely disappointed in our cramped, dark room with dripping tap. Our first night there, we only had one towel. When we asked for two I was given a bath mat. When I asked again for a towel I was told there were none till the next day. Tea and coffee advertised... More

Hotel is near the center. Maybe this and the kind personnel are the only good things. It's in Turkish neighborhood where it's very noisy. People start to work before 6am which is annoying on Saturday. The room was small and old with strange smell from the toilet. Except bad environment in and outside the hotel, the personnel is really kind... More

Not so expensive. I think it's a good value for money. Rooms not so big but clean. You can reach the most important places on foot - Oktoberfestplatz as well as the city center and main market. In the neighbourhood there are lots of restaurants. You can go to a italian one to eat breakfast - I recommend it.

We booked here as the cost was reasonable and ths location was only 150 metres from the train station. We stayed one night before catching the train to Salzburg early the next morning. The room was extremely small and very basic. If you only need to stay the one night you will be ok...I wouldnt recommend any longer. The staff... More

We stayed here for 3 nights during Oktoberfest. As with all hotels in Munich during Oktoberfest and other cities during major events, prices jump by 2-3 times so it's probably not fair to judge a budget hotel based on those prices. But we paid around €250 a room which, for a basic, no nonsense hotel only 10-12 minutes' walk from... More

“Goethestrasse is a busy road. There are rooms on the backside of the hotel that may be quieter. With the window closed, the street noise can still be heard, so light sleepers may request a room not on the front side of the hotel.”
