Nice hotel. Great location with short walking distance to Rotkreutzplatz subway station. Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars in walking distance. Very friendly staff. Rooms are a bit on the small site but very clean. Nice atmosphere. Had a street view room and the soundproof windows hardly let any noise through. They don’t have a fridge or coffee amenities in the room, but you can get free water, coffee, tea downstairs. Enjoyed my stay. Loved the Poster collection on the walls throughout the hotel.

Stayed for a couple of days for Oktoberfest. The hotel itself is fairly standard but the posters for the cultural events from days gone by were really interesting and a great touch. The room was clean and the bed fine, the breakfast was ok. The staff were pleasant and courteous, no complaints here. It is a walkable distance to the city centre from this hotel as well, and there are numerous restaurants in the vicinity.

We were delighted to find this wonderful hotel for our recent stay in Munich.
It is very conveniently located for local shops, restaurants, buses, trams and U bahn services.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The poster collection was fascinating.
The free water in reception was invaluable in the heat and cakes and coffee in the afternoon were enjoyed too.
The breakfast was really great.
The room was comfortable and clean.
We would definitely stay there again if visiting Munich.

This is a very conveniently located hotel, with a lot of local charm. The best thing about it is the proprietor and the staff. They do everything to make your stay excellent. You don’t get this kind of personal care in a large or corporate hotel. I had a superb visit with them at this hotel and look forward to returning.

A very great stay and would strongly recommend. Very friendly front desk .. all of them especially Anna who provided us with umbrellas to go sight seeing on a rainy morning. Free moneral water and excellent breakfast are a fantastic bonus. Suly in breakfast room is a great human being.. The Indian restuarant Taj Mahal is worth mentioning here. Friendly staff everywhere. Go for it💕💕💕

The good: nice personnel, decent breakfast, subway stations near by, garage parking (although narrow spaces), lively neighborhood, cold water provided.
The bad: almost no sound isolation on top of the noisy Indian restaurant and busy street, no minibar/fridge in the room, minimalist old furniture.
The ugly: dusty room with spider webs, no air conditioning, high price (over 200 EUR) - probably due to European Championships weekend.

For a budget hotel, I enjoyed it very much. I stayed here in June 2004 for 3 nights. The room was not large or beautiful, but adequate (a single) and very clean. The bathroom was nice, with a shower, no tub. The price was $83 per night including the best breakfast I had in my travels through eight cities in Europe! The location was not close to the center of the city, but a couple blocks from a subway stop.

I was pleasantly surprised on my recent stay at the hotel in May 2006. The hotel is located in a nice area, is quite, clean, colorful, and provides a great buffet breakfast. The staff is nice and there is a really good Indian restaurant next door. The only complaint I would have is with the size of the shower which is very small and doesn't provide anything to lay your soap on so you have to hold it in your hand or balance it on the top rim of the stall! My room had a twin bed and faced the main boulevard out front but It was quite.
Would stay here again.

The Hotel Nymphenburg is a extremely tired-looking hotel with little to recommend it for. Felt more like I was staying in a hostel than a hotel. I wouldn't ever go back there, even if they offered me a room for free.

We order a room with only one bed but we have received 2 beds . It s a cleaning hotel with a verry good breakfast . The bathroom was poor and old also (at our room , at first floor ) . About ten minutes to the car untill the downtown . I recomended this hotel for business travel . Enjoy yourself
