We chose a rate with breakfast included and breakfast was superb and varied with good choices. The room (236 - internal outlook) was immaculate, large with opening windows and very light and airy, comfortable bed and extremely quiet. Bathroom also with an opening window and well fitted. The location just opposite the main train station was excellent and only a very short walk to the Christmas Markets and the old town. The staff were attentive and friendly. Room cleaned and fresh each day. Nothing missing at all. A wonderful 3 night stay. Thoroughly recommend.

The hotels location is very convenient. It is minutes from the main train station and you can be in the centre of the city in 5 minutes walk.
The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and it is easy to fill up for that day if that is what you want.
We found the staff friendly, though in our experience not all spoke English as mentioned in some reviews.
The room was large and clean. the bathroom was a little on the small side, beds comfortable though we found the room too warm at times.
For the money you can't really fault the hotel.

Hotel is situated very close to the main attractions and near all possible kinds of transport. Our room had courtyard view and was very cosy, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was just perfect - great choice, there were several types of coffee, different bread, yogurts, eggs, many fruits, etc.

For the price I paid, I would rate this hotel as great and as expected.
Right across the main station, which was important to me, to be able to take trains to Salzburg & Vienna. Also, there is a bus service, to / from the airport, about 3 mins walk from the hotel.
A very nice and reasonable walk to Marienplatz, the city center.
The front desk staff all spoke English (I don't speak German at all) . They were very helpful all the way from check-in to check-out, including helping with research to tourist activities.
I was a bit surprised that the room was slightly bigger than what I was expecting from the pics.
Very importantly, the hotel was very clean.
Highly recommended and I will visit again.

The hotel seems to be worried about not having airconditioning. While we were ther temperatures were quite warm, 30 Deg C day and 18-20 night. The ceiling fan was so efficient that we both neded the duvet !
The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfasts were good and with lots of variety.
The room is very well thought out. There is ample shelf and hanging space, a safe that will take a large laptopA nice touch is the provision of two flat pieces of furniture that take opened suitcases. A 66cm in hallway and carry-on in bedroom area. really nice if one is only there for a few days and don't want to unpack everything. There is a nice workarea, with good WiFi and a comfortable padded chair and a puff of an idea height for working.
There are plenty of eating places close by, we only tried The Munchner Stubn and the Ca Doro. One each side of the hotel entrance. At weekends booking seems to be needed, at least at Ca Dora.
The greatest feature of the hotel is it's location, right opposite the main railway station, (with lots of taxis) and a few metres from the nearest Metro station.

This is a moderately-priced hotel located across the street from the Munich railroad station and a short walk from Munich's Marianplatz, the center of the city. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff was very cordial and accommodating, and spoke fluent English. Best of all, all guests are welcome to the complimentary breakfast which serves an exceptional variety of food choices. There is also a very nice Italian restaurant adjacent which is accessible through the lobby. This is a great headquarters for exploring Munich.

The hotel was ok. The room clean albeit one of the smallest I’ve been in as it was a rare single bed. Facilities good. A vending machine offering decent coffee for a small fee. Breakfast at €18. A 15-20 min walk to the heart of the old town and opposite the main railway station. There is no air con which they advised and even in the cold weather I had the fan on so be aware in the summer.
The main issue was that there are major construction works opposite and along the road. No noise to be fair and not the hotels fault but the immediate vicinity also feels a bit run down. In a few years time I could upgrade.
As a footnote why do hotels insist on cleaning staff entering the room every day just to fold the quilt and change a towel etc. Guests like myself are happy for it to be left until requested. This would save the hotel a lot of money.

This hotel is in a good position for a nights stay - opposite the train station....area a bit iffy. The breakfast is very good. We had a triple room overlooking a courtyard so it was relatively quiet. The toilet space was extremely narrow. Room was clean with a small bar fridge. Only liquid soap in the bathroom - nothing else.

We have stayed at the Europaischer hof a few times. It is very convenient to the train station and a perfect stop after a long plane flight. This time we arrived early in the morning so we expected a long wait before our room would be ready in the afternoon. There is a guest lounge to sit and wait which has a vending machine for food and coffee. We were pleasantly surprised when a room became available much earlier and we could go and have a sleep. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is substantial buffet style with many hot items on the menu. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I noticed many of the guests were well known to the staff and most likely repeat visitors like ourselves. When you find a good place, why mess with it. I recommend booking this hotel through their website for the best rate.

Heading to a new city, I rely completely on the reviews of others. I booked this hotel based on that and am so glad I did! Outstanding in every aspect! Directly across the street from the central train station- on the same side as the awesome restaurant Munchner Stubn. The hotel seems small and nondescript from outside appearances, but once inside it's boutique style comes across with beautiful stained glass in the lobby, absolute wonderful and kind front desk staff and welcoming multilingual signage. Our reservationist Adrian was by far the best in any hotel I've ever stayed! The rooms are spacious for European with needed amenities like shampoo, hair dryer, fans, and towels. Abundant breakfast buffet with fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, and hot, delicious coffee. Our server Hocine looked for us all 3 mornings - he was fantastic! Housekeeper on the 3rd floor was delightful and so accommodating. Walking distance to all city center attractions and Oktoberfest. Ubahn is outside front door. Overall 10/10. We will absolutely stay here again.
