My son and I stayed at the Bauer in July expecting 5 star Venice experience. Instead we felt like we were staying in a youth hostel. Yes, the breakfast and coffee was fine, but it cost 25 euro to use the gym, and instead of staying in the main hotel building, we were walked out the front door to an...

We've been using Bauer for years, for Exhibitions, and it doesn't defraud. Clean and wide romos, nearby a tube station (Harras), and restaurants nearby. Breakfast is correct but don't expect a wide selection, and price is OK with very friendly staff. The only issue, is half an hour walking from Marienplatz, but the Harras tube is nearby, so there's no...

I spent two very comfortable nights here recently in what was my second visit to this hotel. It is very close to the Harras U-bahn station and offers very easy and rapid access to the very centre of Munich on the U6 line. All the staff are very friendly and although the breakfast selection is small the quality is good...

We reached the hotel quite late. The staff at the reception was pretty efficient and allotted the rooms quickly. The hotel had a traditional German look with antique furniture at all places. My room was on the attic and I had to carry my heavy suitcase one floor up after reaching the second floor by elevator. This is a downside...

We stayed in this hotel for one night. To save money, we went with a shared bathroom (though rooms with private baths are available). There were 2 baths close by. I never had to wait, and they were kept very clean. This is a quaint, historic hotel (which is what we wanted, but if you want an American chain type...

This hotel is a very well kept, well run establishment offering great service, good food and attractive, comfortable rooms. It was well maintained, extremely clean and seemed to offer a variety of facilities for different visitors and travellers. The outside dining was a great way of beating the sweltering heat of 38 degrees this week, as was the lovely choice...

This is a NICE family hotel, near Munich, a silent neighborhood, nice rooms, nice staff, nice reception. The most beautiful part is the BREAKFAST, they serve lavish traditional breakfast, the staff is traditionally dressed to give you the feel of German countryside. the HOTEL IS GREAT to stay and explore MUNICH by train ...

Me and a friend stayed at Hotel Bauer on our recent visit to Munich for Octoberfest. We had single rooms because they told us they have been booked solid. Since it is considered a B&B rooms and bathrooms are basic but clean. The breakfast included in the room rate was just ok and not up to my standards so I...

We recently spend 3 nights at Hotel Bauer. This is a very unique older hotel with nice size rooms and very personal service. It's just a few minutes away from the train station and there are several restaurants near as well. We had a 20 minute walk to the Octoberfest. Hotel breakfast was a typical European one with yogurt, breads,...

This hotel is in a great, quiet location. It was only a five minute walk to our daughter's apartment. It is close to very good Bavarian and Italian restaurants. The employees spoke good english and were very friendly. Breakfast was traditional German. The breads were awesome. Very close to the train station to take you to the action in city...
