We chose this hotel based on the excellent TA reviews and spent 3 nights there. First the pluses of our stay: the staff was wonderful. They were extremely helpful and nice. The breakfast was very good, with a nice selection of items. The room was fine, although fairly small for the "exclusive deluxe room"that I had booked. It did have a small balcony so we were able to get some fresh air. There were a number of restaurants nearby, most of which were Asian and which we did enjoy as a break from German food. The minuses: It was not as close to the train station as we would have liked but we did get alot of exercise walking there and back everyday. However, the biggest issue was the elevator did not work the entire time we were there, although they were hopeful everyday that it would be fixed soon. Our room was on the 4th floor (which is like the 5th floor in the US) so it was a bit of a hike, particularly when we had our suitcases. Nobody offered to help with the luggage, which would have been nice.

I booked this hotel last minute, due to an issue with black mould/damp at a previous hotel.
Absolutely fantastic! Only disappointed that I did not book this as my first option.
The reception staff were all friendly, and the area felt safe for a solo traveller.
Breakfast was included and the room was quiet at night.
About 5-12 minute walks to the nearest train stations (there were 3 options), and the local area was again, safe for a solo traveller at night.
A bit further out, but only took 5-minutes by train to the Old Town (25-minutes to walk) and had sights, sites and restaurants in the local area.
Good size and pleasant overall.
Thank you!

Two night stay 14th & 15th May, Room 42.
Faultless stay, nice staff, nice rooms, would definitely go back.
Price was good considering every other hotel was raking it in due to the IFAT Trade Fair. A very sustainable stay, this hotel is cautious about the environment, and I guests can choose whether or not to have rooms cleaned. Little surprise, if you opt not too.

Location wise - 2 U-Bahn stops to main train station, nice area with lots of small places to eat out.

Hi Peter, thanks for the positive feedback. It's uplifting to hear that you found our staff and rooms to your liking, and we're delighted that you'd consider returning – that's the best compliment we could hope for! We take pride in offering a sustainable stay, and it's fantastic to see that you appreciated our Green Option for room cleaning. Your positive remarks about our location being a stone's throw away from handy U-Bahn stops are music to our ears, and we're glad you enjoyed the neighborhood's culinary offerings. Just a quick note that our guests can indeed take a short stroll to the Theresienwiese U-Bahn station, connecting them swiftly to Munich's vibrant heart! We can't wait to see you again on your next visit to Munich. Best regards, Bernd Gronbach & Team BAVARIA BOUTIQUE HOTEL

Amazing hotel and staff. We've stayed in many different hotels in Munich and this is by far our favorite. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfy. The breakfast was delicious, including fresh Brezel and Weißwurst. The neighborhood is quiet residential, but very close walking distance to playgrounds, the Theresienwiese, and an Augustiner Biergarten. Will be coming back on our next stay!

Superb hotel. Great price, extra pleasant staff, interesting neighbourhood with loads of good food options (especially Japanese/Korean/Viet)
... bars galore. Quick trot into old town. Has a slightly younger, bit trendier vibe in a town that doesn't seem to have an extensive hotel culture. We are well travelled and prefer hotels for our accommodation, having done years of high end, low end and everthing in between... this place doesnt scream luxury but its so comfortable and deceptively up there with some heavy weight brands we like. Super bed. Lovely lovely varied breakfast on a sunny decked terrace with awnings... wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and it was a very nice experience. It's located very next to 2 underground stations and, if you decide to walk, just 10 minutes away from Aldstadt.

The room was very cozy. The staff was kind and helpful.
The breakfast was amazing and full of delicious options.

Lot of nice restaurants in the area, which is lovely for who likes to walk the whole day and wants a nice meal before reaching the hotel to take a rest.

Next time in Munich (I hope it doesn't take too long cause we loved the city) definitely we'll stay again. Recommended!

Stayed one night before leaving from Munich airport. Next time I would like to come back with family and stay longer. This will be my “go to’ hotel in Munich.
The BBH is a beautiful small hotel with very helpful staff and wonderful ambience.
I walked to Marienplatz and had dinner on the return trip and then a drink at the bar in the hotel. Owners speak fluent English and booked me a car for the airport.
This won’t disappoint.

It is a very good hotel outside of city centre of Munich. The room was big and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower can be a bit better. Wi-Fi is very good. The breakfast is full of options. If you like walking such as I do, the Center is 45 minutes away on foot. They have secure parking. Above all staff is amazing.

We stayed here for 5 nights in September as our final stop on our tour of Germany and Austria and found the hotel to be very good. Whilst not in the centre of Munich it is very well located with 2 U Bahn stations within a few minutes walk. It is in a quiet area but not isolated, there was a nice beer garden at Bavaria Park (next to the Deutsch Transport museum) within 10 mins walk one way, . A 10 min walk the other way brings you to Augustiner Brewery Beer hall (my favourite Munich beer by the way)
We had a room at the front and as the hotel does not have air con we had to leave the window open a little and as a result we did experience some street noise on the Saturday, but given the Hacker-Pschorr brewery is over the road is hardly surprising. The bathroom was functional but the shower was the best we had all the time we were away
Breakfast was very good with a selection of cereals cold meats, cheese, as well as Eggs & Bacon, a selection of breads/pastries. There were juices , coffee tea, so all bases were covered in that respect. The breakfast room was very nice , with an option to sit outside ( weather permitting ).
The hotel has a nice comfortable bar area which we did use a few times.
We found the staff to be friendly, and would definitely recommend this hotel, we will certainly use the hotel again when we are next in Munich.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and were not disappointed at all. The room was very comfortable, spacious with a very good decoration (the bathroom is very zen!) and very calm as the sound isolation was incredibly good and we didn't hear anything from inside or outside the hotel!!

The staff was very friendly, very willing to help, and the breakfast was quite good with many different options to eat and get ourselves ready to face the beautiful city of Munich.

Also the location was fantastic. very close to Theresenwiese, that is the location where the Oktoberfest takes place and it had a giant Christmas fair at this time of the year with plenty of things to buy as a gift, Christmas decorations and a lot of drinks (Hot wine, that they call Gluhwein was delicious) and foods namely varieties of the Bratwurst, grilled sausage!!

By foot you would take around 20 minutes to the city centre, and despite passing near to the red light near the train station everything was very calm without big danger for us. The alternative is to catch the metro in Theresenwiese (5 minutes walk from the hotel) and then another 5 to Munich's main square: Marienplatz, one of the most beautiful squares i have ever seen!! The Christmas fair was at its zenith there (Christkindlmarkt), therefore the place was very crowded but still with a special magic... the City Hall and the surrounding buildings are breathtaking like the views from St.Peter's Kirke just close by.

Near the hotel you can find plenty of restaurants but i believe the city centre is nicer to have a meal. Also the hotel has very good internet access in all the bedrooms.

Other attractions that i would like to mention are:
- Frauenkirke
- Englisher Garten
- Residenz Munchen (visit it,as it is truly amazing)
- Friedensengel
- Maximilianeum
- Konigsplatz
- Olympischstadion
- Allianz Arena
- Siegestor
- Karlstor
- Maximiliansplatz (with a great medieval market)
- Theresenwiese and its huge statue
- The Hofbrauhaus

I am sure you can find plenty of things to do in this great city and anyway you look around something will make you wordless such is the magic from Munich!!

Enjoy the city and hotel Bavaria!!
