My husband and I (early 30s) stayed 3 nights at Derag Viktualienmarkt during a recent trip to Munich. We could not be happier with our experience and would recommend this hotel to any Munich visitor! Location is ideal. Steps away from Der Pschorr, an entertaining and lively traditional Bavarian biergarten/restaurant. Also steps away from several other excellent restaurants. One evening...

Great experience at this hotel. It is in a great location to easily get around Munich, the staff was great, and the beds were comfortable. It was ridiculously hot in the rooms -- the hotel-wide heater was on - so we had to open the window and let the outside air in to sleep comfortably.

I stayed here on twice during build up for Bauma, a large trade show. First time round I was in a single room - smallish but very well appointed. Second time I was in larger business plus room. Really like it - tons of space and again very well appointed. Staff were excellant especially on reception - Maria was very...

This must be one of the worst hotels in terms of service! Stayed here for 3 nights - no room service for breakfast even though it clearly states this is available! Changed over the used coffee cups but failed to replenish the coffee sachets & creamer! Just everything about this hotel lacks something! For what they charge - really should...

Belated review. Stayed at the Derag three weeks ago and we loved it. The staff treat you as though you are family, could not do enough for us. We had a standard room and were delighted at the size when we checked in. ( we are from Australia and find European hotel rooms to be on the small side). Great...

We were moved from our first room, which had no view to a room on the top floor overlooking the market. It was great. Front desk very helpful. Small bar downstairs to a quick drink. Great location to walk and explore. Parking around the corner. The market is a lively place but closes early. Very modern, very clean, very comfortable...

I stayed here recently for a night with my fiancé, and found the experience reasonable but not great. As has been mentioned in other reviews, the set up of the hotel is a little odd....there is a mirrored corridor (somewhat disorienting) that connects to a building behind the main one, which is where we were housed. Complimentary beer is a...

I trully recommend this place. Great hotel with spacious, luxurious rooms. People working there are amazing, helpful, fun, make your stay even more enjoyable. Location is excellent, just 2 minutes walk to the old town.

My wife and I stayed for three nights in Derag Livinghotel Am Viktualienmarkt, and couldn't ask for a better experience. Starting from the location - few minutes walk to city center and the extensive shopping area, and right next to the Viktualien market. There are many restaurants and coffee places around and so it's easy to get a quick dinner...

Great location across the street from the very hp and happening Viktualienmarkt and the new Eataly restaurant / market. . Great helpful English speaking staff. Nice clean room with kitchenette . Good breakfast buffet with street views. Billed as and has the look of a modern travelers hotel but.... Internet is awful - they know about that but have not...
