Relatively cheap, walking distance from the centre, clean and basic. The negative side is the immediate surrounding area which is not so nice. Rooms need more lighting, furnishings are basic, no closed storage space.

Good hotel near the central railways station of Munich, 10 minutes walking from Mariensplatz. We have been there in August, for bed and breakfast. The service was accurate, the quality/price ratio interesting (with free wi-fi). A good location if you wanna wandering around with a comfortable support base near the historical centre of the city.

The hotel is located on Schillerstr., which is very central with close proximity to the central station. Altstadt, Englisher Garten, Oktoberfest, Deutsches Museum, are all within walking distance. The hotel staff is very friendly and service minded, they speak impeccable English, so conversation is easy even if you don’t know German. The weather was hot and moist when we visited,...

We chose this hotel based on it having rooms to accommodate 5 people, the location close to the Hauptbahnhoff, and the price. This may have been the best choice given our criteria, but beware that the accommodations are nothing fancy, and the neighborhood in the direction immediately north of the hotel is sketchy and a little scary at night for...

Clean with friendly staff, a good breakfast and close to Munich Central and Old town. A quad room was fine for this family of four, although we did not spend much time in the room at all. Great laundromat just a few blocks away.

Very nice, clean hotel close to Old Munich- easy 10 min walk. Good price & very friendly front staff😄. Easy walk from train station... But go thru kinda rough neighborhood. Once at hotel, very quiet... Has elevator & great strong wifi. Good choice

This hotel had small rooms and a shower where the water went all over the floor as it was at the same level. There was no ac, and since most rooms were no smoking, people tended to smoke in the hallways. However, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was clean and a quick walk to downtown.

thank you for you comment. Our showers are italian showers and there is no elevation - that is correct. The benfit is, that it is comfortable for elderly or handicapped guests, but it depends how one stands - sometimes the water spills. Regarding the smoking - I hope you informed our staff at the front desk, so they could get in...

Pleasant, helpful staff and a good location make this hotel good value. The area is rather grimy with an 'interesting' assortment of local shops and entertainment venues. For 1 night it was ok. Rooms were small but clean, the bathroom was tight but worked ok.

Large room, good for 5 people in walking distance from the train station. The room was clean but way to warm during the night. The internet was useless it was so slow. The breakfast was ok. Very good kebab and pizza places almost next door. Idea to grab something light.

We stayed here in June 2016 with our three children. The hotel and rooms were dated, and the service was mediocre. Walking back at night to the hotel was a little scary, especially with young children in tow. This may have been a nice German hotel at one time, but we'd choose a different location to stay next time.
