I'm really conflicted about this hotel, in some ways it's a great hotel and in others not so much.
I'll start with check in, I booked a "Queen bed" which to me means bigger than double especially as there is an option for just a double. so had to pay to upgrade to a "executive room" which had the bigger bed, so another €60 on to our bill, but was discounted from €90. room was big, bed was very big and very comfortable. had to ask for a kettle (had a coffee machine but no kettle) had a minibar so a fridge which the first room didn't have even tho website says a minibar. all rooms have balconies but no furniture out there so I had to ask for chairs, also dont think the balconies have been cleaned in a while, i left foot prints in the dust. bathroom was old and needs refurbishment, shower pressure is rubbish, water drains very slowly and bath has all gone rusty.
our first room was right next to the second room and overlooked some car park but then right next to it is a factory and then behind that some excavation work is taking place, the 1st night all was quiet as it was Easter but the second night from 3.30am lorries with there reversing noises where going on and that night the factory noise went on till almost 10pm. this is not the hotels fault- but if booking a room I would ask for a different location for room.
breakfast was beautiful, everything u would want, all presented lovely and u could have omlette made to order.
we used the resturant the 1st night, the food was very nice but very expensive- but we later found out this is how Germany is.
Husband used the gym- mini gym as they call it and it is mini but it kept him happy for an hour.
pool is a added bonus but pictures make it look bigger than it is, Sadly it was far too cold for me to get in and the steam/sauna are only turned on at certain times and we missed the time slot but they both looked good sizes.
all the staff we came across, from reception, to restaurant and breakfast staff and especially the cleaners were lovely, very polite and helpful if u have any questions or requests.
we would stay here again if it was the original price for the larger bed and if we had a different room location.

We were on the ground floor, which you could access by going down 5 steps or via a lift. The hotel is old & tired looking, the hall to get to our room was a very long hall, like a dormitory. There was free open Wi-Fi, the bed had a small quilt and small pillow but was comfortable enough with a kettle, no safe and average bathroom.

No experience with the hotel per-se. Hotel representative emailed me informing the hotel will be closed and offering an alternative stay in another of their hotels. I immediately replied stating that i did not want to take their offer and wanted a full refund or a credit note. Complete silence after this.

I lived near this property. It's in a Southern suburb of Munich, the rooms are US style and modern, restaurant food is above avg and you easily park and get to points south fast. Also a U-Bahn station is an easy walk and the neighborhood is very safe at all hours.

Customer Service is #1 – The staff was friendly and accommodating. The grounds, hotel and amenities were super clean, comfortable, very pretty, and convenient.

Our family of 4 stayed at the Holiday Inn a bit hesitantly after not finding too much information about the hotel. After a previous two week stay in other parts of Europe that had left us disappointed and frustrated, THIS HOTEL MADE OUR WHOLE TRIP!

The rooms were very large and clean, with in suite bathrooms that offered all of the toiletry amenities. Our room had two large beds plus a pull-out sofa and the beds were made up nicely with oversized pillows and comfy, crisp beddings.

The air conditioning which was important to us during the 2006 summer heat wave, worked VERY WELL. There was a variety of television offerings, including pay-tv choices in English and other languages. The staff all spoke a variety of languages, including English!

We had a balcony to our room, and despite some ongoing construction next to the hotel, when the windows and door were closed, one would never had known. The entire hotel, and especially our room was quiet and very comfortable.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and the wait staff attentive. The dinner was equally top quality and offered either a choice of outdoor BBQ buffet or indoor dining, in a beautiful and well-decorated dining room. Only the adults were charged for food – as kids stay and eat “free.” The bar and lounge were inviting and cozy.

The internet access was very reasonable at 6 Euros per hour – they offered two computer stations, with no additional charges for printing. When I lost some information due to being cut off temporarily, the manager, without hesitation enabled me to return on-line and complete my work. When there was a problem with my credit card access, the manager was amazingly patient in working that out.

The swimming pool was small, but uncrowded, warm and very well cared for and the spa area and fitness room were very cozy, clean, and they felt healthy and invigorating. There is a park across the street.

The hotel is a very short walk to the local train stop, which will connect you in just minutes to the main bahnhof. Ask the hotel for the train map, which will highlight the routes to take. If you wish, you can take a taxi to and from the hotel, as it seemed a taxi was also parked outside, with the taxi fee about 20 Euros to the main train station.

Within a 5 minute walk from the front of the hotel, there is a fully stocked Walmart! This Walmart also houses a McDonalds and other eateries and a large pharmacy and grocery area – you can shop and store your edibles in the mini-bar fridge provided in the rooms.

The concierge was very helpful in coordinating activities for us and in looking up train schedules, etc. Again, customer service was first-rate and the hotel seemed more like family then a stranger’s stay in a far away land.

If you are looking for a hotel in a nice part of Munich, especially for family, please don’t even look at or consider another choice – This is it for a great stay in a comfortable and well-maintained hotel with a welcoming and generously kind staff.

Stayed at this hotel as part of a tour group. The travel agent stated that we would stay in 4 star hotels so this hotel was a dissappointment. The hotel was located in a what appeared to be a lower class residential neighborhood. It was well out of town. The lobby was small and cramped and not suitable for the large groups trooping in and out. When we arrived admittedly very tired after more than 15 hours of travel there was no one to take the luggage to the room. The rooms were small and somewhat run down and lacking in ammenities, there was no soap in the soap dispenser, the tub drained sluggishly, we had a hard time finding the heat, which didn't work well. The worst part of this place was the restaurant. The staff obviously, dislikes Americans. We had to eat there, my spouse is a diabetic and needed food. It was lunch and we ordered an antipasto and carpaaccio. It took close to 45 minutes to produce the food. The antipasto had a little lettuce, about 20 olive from a jar, a few nice roasted vegtables. The carppacio was a piece of hammered raw beef. I warned my spouse not to eat it but he did and had lower tack distress for the next three days. The staff at the front desk was nicer but not very forthcoming with information about how to get into Munich. We ate there for two other meal, which were included on the trip. The dinner consisted of overcooked meat and frozen vegtables. The desert was out of a box mousse. Breakfast was not a lot better, they ran out of eggs and orange juice. If this hotel is on a tour iterary pick another tour provider.

I did the checkout at noon and discovered to have left my coat within the wardrobe about 4pm. I come back to the front desk and they told me, after a double check, that nothing was in my room. Someone from the housekeepers stole my coat and the front desk clerk refuses to provide any help. He told me they had no insurance and he tried to convince it was my fault. I insisted to say that it was not my fault if their staff are thieves. This is something happened to me for the first time in my 10-years of experience as a frequent traveller. Another girl from front-desk insisted to say that probably I left my coat somewhere. I was 100% sure I left it into the wardrobe. It was very unpleasant ant the front desk clerks were not collaborative. They were insulting.

Dear "lesapp", it is no problem to organise a taxi to or from the airport. Due to a rise in prices the cost for a regular Taxi is at 75.00€ and for a Minivan-Taxi at 85.00€. Have a save trip and to Munich and enjoy the fascinating capital of Bavaria
