Overall a very nice hotel with large rooms and excellent facilities (gym, exec lounge etc). Bathroom in room a little tired but that's the only complaint. Check-in and restaurant staff extremely helpful.

I spent a night here in January 2020 on a business trip. My room was a bit disappointing, tired bathroom and tired fixtures including desk lighting being particularly poor for work.

The Executive Lounge wasn't great either, not really possible to make up an evening meal, meaning I took dinner in the bar which was fine if a bit pricey.

I slept poorly, mainly because the pillows were worn out and gave little support, and there was not air conditioning - rather a system to increase or decrease temperature by 1-2 degrees. I would expect a Hilton to have a system to set the temperature of your choice.

The bathroom was fine but the shower temperature fluctuated in a frustrating way. Not good.

I grabbed takeaway breakfast which was fine once the staff found a takeaway box & bag after 10 minutes, delaying my departure.

Not sure I'd return when there are some lovely hotels for less cost in the city centre.

We booked this hotel at the end of our 10 day travels through Bavaria and loved everything about it, including the air conditioning! We loved the location near the Englisher Gardens and the ability to rent a bike directly from the hotel to take in all of the sites in the park. We found that taking the bus to the subway was quite easy for our trips to the Marienplatz. The accommodations were high quality with great views of the river and park behind the hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This Hilton is well positioned for walls in the English Garden and the centre is town is about 30 minutes on foot. The lobby area is nice and the overall atmosphere is pleasant.

The rooms are well sized and have all the expected features. The bed was lovely and large and the tv even had some English language stations, which was a nice surprise. The only major issue was the lack of lighting.

Our room had an odd feature, which was that the shower was too hot. We tried the shower in the adjoining room, which was fine, but that's the first time in many hotel stays that I've experienced that particular issue.

Service was a bit erratic. The wake up call never came and when I asked repeatedly for a car with extra luggage space (face to face at the front desk), this was ignored. It was clear that the guy on the front desk thought it was unnecessary. It made our trip to the airport unnecessarily uncomfortable.

We enjoyed our short stay and I'd probably stay again but I'd also make sure not to rely too much on the service.

Hilton München stay
Some of your staff were helpful (Reception), but most either wold refer us to someone els, to call the reception or gave us the feeling they are waiting for a tip (maybe you are not paying them enough?).
The rooms are very dated, the equipment even more so (20 year old hairdryer with tangled cord, squeaky bed, radio that didn’t even work, and an A/C that didn’t work properly.)
I explain a lot of these point to your hotel manager Veronica (was her name I think).
Starting with the the house keeping that don’t understand Englisch or German, and can get me an extra bed sheet even after I asked for it from Veronica, to the elevator where a cube of Melone was left on the floor for at least 5 hours. Of the the breakfast staff that are so slow to move and just stand around and refer me to their colleagues in a different section when I asked for a coffee when we have a 10 minutes to the buffet closing.
The room service and that wouldn’t answer the phone number of the reception asked me to call, and when the order came it was missing my order and the table was broken, When I voice my dissatisfaction and they told me It was the front desks mistake, but Marcus the other hotel manager, pushed the blame back on the room service (honestly I blame neither, it’s the lack of training and oversight).
The housekeeping, who I complaint to about the A/C as the room was too worm, having called everyday and finally 3 times on the 3rd day, the unfriendly man that came, who wouldn’t even introduce himself that finally came after I went down to the reception and insisted to speak to the manager (who I was told was not available or on a break) told me I could just turn the A/C of if it was warm, and didn’t have equipment to measure the temperature.
And many other frustrations, for the limited time we were in the hotel, from bedsheets cleanliness, leaving cleaning material in the room, one more.

Overall I was completely missing the service with a smile and helpless that I was in 5 star hotels, and was given the feeling that of being in a property where I need to pay each person tips and not like a Hilton guest.

I have stayed at this hotel every time I've come to Munich. Part of the reason we chose it this time was the outstanding experience I've had in the past; nothing could have prepared me for how badly this property has gone down. The rooms are still fine but the tivoli restaurant is not open except as part of the quote new executive lounge they serve beer and wine only no cocktails no snacks and we went into the bar to get drinks in the evening and told them you know we're going to tie up the bill go back to the restaurant for dinner and we're told the bar is the only restaurant. The menu is extremely limited the quality the food is obnoxious and frankly they should be ashamed of themselves because the Hilton we stayed at in Milan was outstanding. I recognize some of this is country specific restrictions but you would think they would be trying harder now that people can travel again to be a five star property and not the two star they've dropped to.....

We arrived late in the evening. We could see availability for a King Room on Booking.com but decided to go directly to the hotel. At the reception, they at first told us that they had no regular King available, but only a more expensive suite. Only after showing them that we can book a King room on Booking.com, did they stop trying to up-sell the more expensive room.
The room was spacious, but very dirty. You could see the dust on all surfaces. It was also very stuffy and the airco wasn’t working properly. We ended up opening the balcony door, but there was a lot of noise coming from the outside. The bedding was very rough. We barely got any sleep that night.

As a Hilton Honors member I wanted to stay at a Hilton property. Chose Hilton Munich Park for the proximity to the English Garden, love a room with a view. Did not disappoint.
Stayed 7 nights on 14th floor in a large room overlooking the park. Full balcony was a plus although the weather was not conducive for hanging out nor was there seating (not sure if chairs are put out in better weather months). Room had plenty of space, mini fridge, outlets for charging devices.
Check in was a breeze. Wasn't able to check in earlier than advertised but that was ok. Had a leisurely breakfast in the Tivoli Restaurant. Lovely view of the Eisbach River through floor to ceiling windows. Buffet was offered with Covid protocols in place, ample variety that didn't change much day to day but all was tasty. As usual with warming plates, not enough heat to keep warm items warm enough. There is a person making omelettes daily. Staff was attentive and very friendly. On Dec 5, St Nicholas Day, one of the wait staff handed out chocolates to celebrate.
Peoples Bar was a dinner option, limited menu but food was tasty. The Executive Lounge was closed due to Covid restrictions but a separate side area of the restaurant was used instead. Hours and seating limited unfortunately but it was nice to have that option.
Location was about 40 min from airport by S bahn train 8/taxi, 20 min from Hauptbahnhof by tram 16. Local bus stop outside of hotel connects to another bus/tram to city center, I think, did not use.
Restaurants, grocery stores nearby, walk or bus/tram.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and will return in the future.

We stayed for a long weekend in late November 2022. First positive surprise when we arrived was that there were free on-street parking spaces available right next to the hotel, although the hotel also has a garage, but I think the price of 28 EUR a night is a bit too expensive. Check-in was friendly and efficient and when we got up to our room we liked the fact that it was heated to a cozy temperature because outside it was already quite cold. I cannot agree with other reviews that the furniture is dated. We found the decoration was tasteful and in good condition, at least in the executive room we stayed in. Food options in the hotel are good but you can notice that they are a bit understaffed and that some people working there are still quite new. On our first night we had to wait like 20 minutes to place our food order at the bar, but apart from that I have no complaints.
I think this hotel is a good choice if you look for a more quite place a bit outside the centre and the fact that it is located right next to Englischer Garten provides opportunity for nice walks or runs. However, to get to the city centre you probably need to take a taxi or Uber, because there seems to be no direct connection by public transport.

Very nice hotel in a bit of a secluded location. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The daily breakfast was amazing everyday. However I would prefer to stay in a location that is a bit more walk-able so I can walk to restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop located right outside and public transportation is very easy to use in Germany, but I would prefer to be able to take a quick walk if I want to get a meal or something. I did like the fact that there was lots of street parking available, so I was able to save a lot of money on parking. Also the park made for great morning runs.
