Absolutely perfect location for getting around. Right across street from main train station. Good value, small room, of course; this IS Munich! The elevators ran well, window opens, no sounds from other rooms. Two beds can be pushed together or left separate. TV with 2 radio stations also. Bathroom VERY small even for Europe; but just fine. The best part was...

We stayed 2 nights in Winters hotel, Munchen. The hotel was close to the Hauptbahnhof so it was easy to get to as we arrived by train. The staff that we encountered spoke good English which was great as we speak very little German. We asked for information on some sightseeing activity and were directed to the tourist information pamphlets...

We arrived in Munich to visit the Christmas markets. The hotel location is right across the street from the train station and getting there from the station is easy--walk out the front of the station and go to the pedestrian crossing. Because of traffic it is not advisable to cross the street outside the crosswalk. The staff are willing to...

This hotel is ideal as a base to explore Munich. Straight across from main train station it is easy to find. Good size room with comfy beds, requested and received extra pillow with no fuss. Breakfast was great lots of options but strangely no toaster. Staff were very helpful all with good English. Only small quibble was that room was...

Stayed at the Winters Hotel for 4 nights in December. Really nice hotel and easy to find, came up the stairs from the UBahn and there it was.Directly across from the main station. Must admit that when I first booked was a little wary as the picture on google maps showed it next door to a strip club! saw this...

The location of the hotel is great, a few minutes walk to the Hauptbahnof, where food, tours, trains and convenience stores are. Breakfast is just average, but sufficient. Front desk staffs are also friendly, speaks English and helpful. If you are planning excursion trips to Salzburg, Mittenwald, and Fussen, this location is the best. Walking tours, day tours, RE, ICE...

This is what you get if you ask your travel agent to book a hotel without first checking it out. Location wise it is right next to the central train station which is great in that you do not have to catch a cab. This is a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. Rooms are small and...

Stopped here during a layover on a train trip, and though the location is very good for the station, the hotel does need some work. The single room I'd booked was tiny, barely twice the size of the single bed, and also very much in need of some renovation. The duvet and pillows were also very thin, and the blind...

Great location, right opposite Hauptbahnhof and 5 - 10 minutes walk to centre of town . Easily reached from Munich airport by Lufthansa bus which runs every 30 minutes and for 10 euros drops you at the Hauptbahnhof. Rooms rather small but warm, comfortable, good shower and spotless. Buffet breakfast was excellent, great variety of hot and cold food and...
