Friendly, clean and comfortable B&B. Superb breakfast. Very traditional and ideally situated in a quiet road just a short walk from the beautiful town. Garaging for our motorbikes. Our room was basic but very clean and comfortable with a large modern shower room and a small balcony overlooking the river. Internet is free but only available in certain areas (sitting... More

We have just returned from Garmisch-Partenkirchen after a lovely 2 night stay at this B&B. Our room (15) was a lovely large double-bed room with large bathroom and was very clean. Our beds were comfortable and warm. We also had a balcony which would be lovely on a warm summer's day which overlooks the garden. Breakfast was plentiful with cold... More

A great place to stay while in Garmisch-Partenkirchen! Alpenkranz is located besided Partnach river (stream) so you can hear the sound of water flowing by. Alpenkranz is also a walking-distance from the downtown and Garmisch-Partenkirchen Bahnhof/railway station, so easy access to all the directions one really needs. The service at Alpenkranz is still the best part! We got a very... More

We had a great stay in this B&B on a short skiing trip to Garmisch. Friendly owners, lovely clean and spacious room, and excellent breakfast. Five minutes' walk to the free ski shuttle bus to the cable car station and ski rental area. Also close to several restaurants and shops.

We spent three nights here in room10...right at the top Location is great..5 minutes to train station and 10-15 minute walk to a hoard of restuarants. Very quiet. The room was great...large, bright and appeared to be recently redone...large comfortable bed, good closet space, sofa and table and flat screen TV. Bathroom was good size, lots of shelf space and... Gästehaus is a 5-minute walk from the train station and the city center GaPa. It is small and cozy Gästehaus. We had a large room with a balcony overlooking the mountains. The room was clean and quiet. Mrs. owner had been kind and willing to help with everything

The Alpenkranz guesthouse was so cozy, and each room had its own bathroom facilities and very very clean. Each morning when we would go to the breakfast room, we were greeted with fresh breads and homemade jelly's along with a wonderful selection of meats, cheeses, fresh eggs and yogurts. Not to mention the wonderful morning greetings of Heidi and the... More

I just stayed 4 nights with 10 other family and friends. This is an ideal guesthouse. It is 2 blocks from the train station and has excellent accommodations. Both single and double rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. Our host was OUTSTANDING in meeting all the personal desires we had. Because we requested breakfast earlier than their normal hours; they... More

A great four night stay. Good service. We had five couples using five rooms. Heidi accommodated our needs for earlier than usual breakfast. We felt at home. Access to Zugspitze was easy from here. A safe ATM is near by next to the train station.

We stayed in Heidi's guesthouse for six nights. It's clean, comfortable, well-maintained and has many original features you won't find in newer properties. It's close to Garmisch's railway station and has spectacular views of the mountains. Use of the garage is an extra and very welcome bonus for motorcyclists. Breakfast is continental style and plentiful - eat as much as... More
