This small guest house is handy to the train station (less than 5 minutes walk if you go out the tunnel under the tracks) and also to the center of town where all the activity is located. I also walked to the Garmisch Classic ski area in the morning which was less than 15 minutes. The owners don't speak any...

Excellent location, very comfy bed, super clean, large rooms, lovely breakfast room setting, very nice breakfast included. Our room had a nice balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. Located just a few short blocks from the center of town. We felt the price was quite reasonable considering the value. We highly recommend the Gastehaus Sissi and wish we...

A bit overpriced but we were there during some hotel holiday so options were slim. They also wanted to charge some ridiculous price for the wifi. The room was dated with decor from the 70's but the bathroom was much newer. The view from the rooms on the upper level was fantastic with the mountains in the background and it's...

This hotel is 1.5 blocks from the train station and 2 blocks from the main downtown area of Garmisch. The breakfast is excellent with rolls, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, cakes and much more. Only caution is that about half the rooms are in the basement. There is light comes in, but I just wasn't aware of this. Also, when you...

Good location. However, the room was very very cold and the duvet provided very thin, despite us being in the middle of a very cold winter. Fortunately, I'd been put in a three-bed room so I was able to get up in the middle of the night and take one of the duvets on the main bed as a second...

We spent one night at Sissi. The house and our room with balcony facing the Spitzberg were absolutely marvelous. Arriving in the morning by car we managed to find the B&B through the Tourist Information. The breakfast was basic and because of the rain we arrived to it only half past nine. The man serving the breakfast seemed to be...

The Haus is in a quiet residential street 7 minutes walk from the large outdoor pool and swimming complex. Warm welcome from the hostess Sissi. Bedroom with balcony had great views of the...

My family and I stayed at here over the Memorial Day weekend. I booked my reservations exclusively via email and even with the language barrier (the owners speak 'hotel' English--just enough to get the message across, and I speak no Deutsch) it was a very smooth process. We had a balcony room with a view of the Zugspitz, and although...

We booked this hotel six months in advance and reconfirmed 6 days ahead of our arrival. Our reconfirmation email included the original email from the guesthouse stating that we had a balcony with a view of the Zugspitzmassiv (the Bavarian Alps). They were expecting our arrival and informed us that the room they promised us was not available. We were...
