Booked a single night here, located a nice distance from the middle of town. Hotel had a great vibe, is quite old and dark with interesting decor - an extravagant old cash register, paintings, a vintage radio cabinet, painted ceilings in the dining room etc, etc - which really appealed to me. Everything in our room was clean and tidy....

Avoid this his hotel. Excellently situated in Garmisch-Partenkirchen this hotel is likely to leave you disappointed. The standard of the rooms leaves a lot to be wished for. Internet connection is lousy if at all, breakfast buffet is sloppy, dirty coups, plates and cutlery. Extremely poorly managed. On top of that the staff and in particular the front desk staff...

For our purposes this hotel was perfect. We arrived by train and therefore required an hotel that was within close proximity of the station - this hotel is a 5 minutes taxi journey or a brisk 15 minute walk. We needed to be within easy striking distance of the ski school - this hotel is a 10 minute walk. There...

We stayed at the Atlas Posthotel for three nights over New Year's. On the second day, the heater in our room stopped working. We asked for help and were told they would take care of it while we were out. When we came back three hours later, our room was still cold. At the time, outside temperatures were below zero....

We stayed in an apartment which was located in a separate building than the main hotel. The apartment was spacious but the room was very outdated and cold. The bathroom and kitchen was modern. The heat was turned off early in the evening and came back on early morning after I had my shower. There was no guest parking available....

Right in the middle of downtown Garmisch the Atlas Posthotel provides middle of the road accommodations. Certainly not the most polished hotel property I have ever been to but was just fine. Seems that each room was varied and different in terms of size and furnishings.

This is a lovely old hotel (500 years old!). The staff speaks English and is very friendly. The rooms are basic, however the bathrooms are modern. Very nice. Yes, the hotel is sitting right next to the church, so the bells do ring. But we didn't really notice it. The hotel is located in the heart of the historic district....

The website is a joke, our room was the worst room that we have had for years, although we had booked a de-luxe room, it was light years from the photo on the website. The hotel has a busy road on one side and a church clock tower on the other which starts ringing at 4am

We were in Garmisch for a wedding recently and stayed in this hotel. Garmisch is beautiful. This hotel is fine. But that's probably the most that could be said about it. We were glad that we had the wedding and all of the celebrations that go with it as it meant that we didn't spend too much time here. Perhaps...

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in July and were a bit dissapointed. We asked the hotel prior to our arrival whether our suite had a seperate room for our son to sleep in and they confirmed that this was available however the seperate room was only seperated by a curtain! The bathroom light above the mirror was...
