I've been quite spoiled over the last year, travelling most of the major cities in Europe and getting to stay in some nice 4* hotels and even the occasional 5* where I've been lucky enough to get a good deal. I've always prided myself on the good choices I made, until I picked the Inter City Hotel in Stuttgart. I...

I arrived in Stuttgart by train and this was one of the reasons for booking this hotel. Found one entrance to the hotel actually just off the station concourse - very convenient. The main shopping area is right across the road and there is a very pretty park area and lake behind the hotel. Check-in was straightforward and all information...

Contrary to other reviews, I found this hotel very cosy. Situated right inside the main railway station and well connected to the other parts of the city (UBahn). The room is very moderately priced, extremely comfortable and spacious with big clean toilets. You would never feel any vibrations or sound though it's inside the station. The reception staff were extremely...

I am disabled and can walk only with the aid of crutches, so, although there was a lift and the room which I had been given was number 111 on the first floor, I still needed help with my bag, which I could not carry myself because of my crutches. There were two at the reception desk, a man and...

The best thing of this hotel is its location. It’s placed in the rail way station building, which is dated but kept in a quite good maintenance. The bathroom is old, but clean. The staff was ok, they gave me a free subway pass for the period of the accommodation, but when I asked if I could use it on...

My wife a native of Stuttgart and I have stayed at the hotel in the fall for a number of years for at at least nine days , or more since my mother-in-law has been placed in a nursing home . We have always been treated very well , It's not a grand resort , but very clean and comfortable....

Clean Room, nicely decorated, mini bar in room. No problem with the room, but front desk staff very indifferent. Stayed there for 9 days due to a death in family(brother), asked the front staff to store luaggage for my sister so we could attend our brother's funeral. They refused, stating it was against their policy. I explained we had to...

This hotel is really set up for train travellers transiting through Stuttgart. It is attached to the railway station overlooking it or the station car park. Now whilst Stuttgart station is just off the town centre being this close to the station has a few drawbacks. There is a lot of passing pedestrain traffic, and the full collection of people...

Hotel is located right inside train station. Parking is 4 blocks away. Lobby is ont he second floor. But if you drive around the side as if you were entering the train station (a small grand Central), you can walk in on the lobby floor. Its on the right. They dont tell you this, until you arrive. Staff helpful. Room...

Surprising hotel - looked a little jaded from outside, but the room was good, comfortable, and clean. Also thought I'd have difficulty sleeping, ground floor, taxi rank and streetlight outside window, but curtains were lightproof and the room also soundproof, didn't get disturbed at all. Location is very convenient too, especially with free travelcard. Breakfast good too. Overall, thought it...
