When my son booked this youth hostel for our recent trip to the German Grand Prix I was a little concerned, having memories of some hostels in the past!! I needn't have worried. It was amazing!! Location is just a short walk from the station in picturesque surroundings near the river.Yes, our rooms were basic, but absolutely spotless and the...

Recently stayed at this hostel on way to Austria with my family. The location was difficult to find, do not rely on Sat have, make sure you have detailed directions to hand, my sat have took me around the town centre twice, and unfortunately had a road traffic accident before I arrived at the hostel, sustained damage to the rear...

Positive is: Location is good as it is close the main train station. Friendly staff. And negative: Nothing provided in the room. Every single thing is subject to an additional payment, even the towels!

The hostel is pretty close to the Mannheim HBF, and there's a tram station two minutes walking. Location is fantastic! Rooms are comfortable.Nevertheless the first night i stayed in the hostel there were plenty of mosquitos in the lamps and when i woke up the next morning, there was a big spider next to me. Internet connection is really poor....

Comfortable hostel, clearly recently done up. Friendly staff & a good buffet breakfast. Easy to get to from station & into Mannheim. Surrounding area is great for a walk, along the river or through parkland.

Seven friends on a bike ride and where better to stay than here, right on the Rhein and with secure bike parking thrown in. Very helpful staff who speak English (and undoubtedly other languages as well!) Breakfast was very good. There is a comfortable lounge and the rooms are recently refurbished and have come up very well. Good wifi.

This place looks like it has just been rennovated. Rooms were clean and there was plenty of space (I had a double room to myself). Place was clean and tidy and the staff were most helpful (and spoke excellent English, which made things easy). I was with a group of 30 university students. They all enjoyed their time at this...

I have been in this hostel with a group of 30 people in January, 2014. The hostel looks renovated. The rooms are comfortable and clean; the shower is large; th wardrobe can be locked. I had a room with two beds, but people staying in 4-bed or 6-bed rooms were satisfied as well. Breakfasts are very rich. I found the...

The hostel is really close to the train station (so close to transports) and the city center (10-15 mins walking). I stayed in a small 3 bed dorm with ensuite, and the price wasn't too bad - euro 25 including breakfast. Clean, quiet, comfortable. BUT it doesn't have a kitchen, so cooking is not possible. BUT it is not really...

This hostel was our first hostel, and it was amazing! Better quality than some hotels we had stayed during our trip! Only recently renovated with all brand new stuff, it was a beautiful place to stay. It is about 10-15mins walk from the train station and about 15-20mins walk from the main centre of Mannheim. It is right on the...
