We initially booked a triple room but to our pleasant surprise we received an upgrade to a double room and a single room, so our teenage daughter received a room to herself. The reception process was quick and efficient. The room was clean when we received it. However, the daily cleaning of the rooms needs more attention. The hotel lacks... More

It was a treat to stay at Hotel Aviva for three nights. I'd grown up in the area and was back for a nostalgic visit. This place was perfect for myself and my two siblings. Loved the unique bathroom doors on rollers, the comfy beds. The included breakfast was tough to top. Great breads, eggs, meats, coffees, and a whole... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Aviva. The rooms were spacious and good. The breakfast buffe was fantastic and there were a lot of different things to choose from. The parking was just outside the entrance. The lobby area was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. In total very affordable.

the hotel is super clean, comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. the hotel is well maintained and the rooms are comfortable and pleasant to stay. one only suggestion is to add more instructions, directions in English. ex. the rating card is all in German and the Hotel info is all in German.

Strange jungle birds cry out in the night, monkeys quietly chatter. I thought I heard a hungry lion growl in the morning. They’re close, just across the road, behind fences thank heavens. Hotel Avisa just happens to be opposite the zoo. If you aren’t as attuned to nature as me, close your window and you won’t even know it is... More

This hotel was a great place to stop for the night on our way from Munich to Koblenz. It was a good, affordable mid way point close to major roads at the edge of the "fan" city. We didn't get the chance to see the town; the hotel was located more on the outskirts and we were too tired for... More

At the outset, Karlsruhe doesn't have too many hotels. So generally the hotels are many times full. I had to get an accommodation for about two weeks and this was the only available option that I could zero down. Reached to the hotel from Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof in 15 minutes by Taxi. Check-in was super quick. Overall ambiance pleasant, reasonable room... More

Clean large room. Good bed and pillow. Free fast WiFi. Excellent buffet breakfast with a lot of options. Good parking. Value for money. The only thing that could be negative is the bathroom with non sealed glass door next to the beds. No dinner possibilities BUT there is a restaurant only 150 meters away called “Fith”
