Pretty nice place in a quiet area nice staff, breakfast was excellent they even allowed us to park our vehicle in their courtyard. There is a tram stop about 10 minutes walk away that will take you right into the heart of the city. Get off where you see the Woolworth store it must be the only one still in...

Friendly staff, good breakfast and great value. Walking distance from the street car stop, so it's quite easy to make it into the Old Town. It is only a short ride. And there are good restaurants just one block down the street.

This is a very nice hotel/boardinghouse in a quiet, picturesque part of Heidelberg (Handschuhsheim). The stay there would be much better without the "sportsbar" which creates noise at night in the courtyard. There are not many hotels in quiet locations in Heidelberg to begin with. A little overpriced, since there is no elevator and breakfast is very basic.

This is a nice hotel - clean, nice choice at breakfast, good rooms. The only problem is that you have to get the tram into the city centre as it is not walkable. I was able to park my car in the yard but I was the last person allowed to do this as once it is full, you have...

We enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The room was clean and very quiet, the buffet breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was some damage in our room, where a door handle had smashed into the wall. This is an easy repair, and I'm not sure why a dent in the wall would be allowed...

Clean little hotel and cosy, breakfast a bit disappointing. Far out from the centre - you need to get a tram in. Staff quite rude and unwelcoming. Everything seemed too much hassle to them. Would not stay here again...

Was making a long car journey through Germany and stopped off in Heidelberg for a night. This hotel is 15 mins walk from the main town centre. We booked the hotel based on the previous reviews which were mainly positive. However as it turns out the few negative ones really were accurate. Though we were aware that there was no A/C, the top-floor studio room(for family of 3) was incredibly hot as it was right under the roof (ok, that's really the weather's fault...). A small hotel but very helpful staff. It was very clean and the location wasn't too far from the tram station, which the children loved using. The street is a bit noisy at night as the noises rebound off the buildings in the street so we had to keep our windows closed at night.

This hotel was just what we hoped to find. Clean, quiet, great breakfast, good shower at a very reasonable rate! It was a little hard to find but not if you know it is by the big church. It is not close to downtown Heidelberg, but easy enough to get to all tourist attractions using the train system. There are...
