This is a very good hotel. I would recommend it to everyone. We had 2 children and 2 adults. We stayed there for two nights. The room is huge and very clean and quiet. The receptionist was very nice too. The breakfast was good. They provided good service during the breakfast. In the beginning, we felt the location was not...

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet and cosy hotel up on a hill. Our room is very spacious, clean and nicely furnished. To our delight Wifi works excellently in this hotel. The hotel staff have been very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, be it the tasteful breakfast room with views, as well as the wonderful...

Heidelberg was a late addition to our trip and I choose this hotel based on its free parking and proximity to the castle. But I do not believe I could have chosen better. Our double deluxe room was HUGE! In face, it is a former studio, so it has a kitchenette, table and two sofas, as well as a desk,...

Our seventh hotel on the grand German driving tour was chosen as it was outside the city and ticked the 3 boxes – free wifi, parking and breakfast. We didn’t realise at the time but there was an added bonus in that it is a short level walk along the hillside to the Castle and fantastic panoramic views of the...

Stayed 2 nights here with 3 adults and a 10 year old in room 37 in the new building. The staff were extremely nice. The location is way up in the hills on a very narrow street. It is however near the main castle in Heidelberg and is not far from the Alstadt. The room was very large with a...

Wonderful, unexpected mini suite with large windows and skylights at tree level at one end of our room. Also unusual double sinks in the bathroom. Good variety for breakfast and choices of dining rooms. Worth walking to the upscale Restaurant S'Kastanie near the castle. Would definitely recommend but drive up and down the hill is not for the faint-hearted due...

Although the hotel may seem a bit out of the way, it is within a walk of the castle and the old town is easy to get to via the funicular railway; do not be put off by the hill. The hotel is quiet and fine for kids with it's garden and easy access to forest walks. The rooms are...

Very nice hotel, conveniently located up on the hill behind the castle. Lovely big room, clean, modern and quiet. Breakfast was also good.

This gem is tucked away on the hill, a bit of a hike down to the town. The castle is a short, nice jaunt down the hill. The hotel is very quaint and charming. The hillside is beautiful! The rooms are spacious and they provided wash cloths, which is a nice perk for us Americans. The breakfast was spectacular! A...

Stayed at this hotel with family on our way from Austria to Belgium. It is in a very nice and quiet residential neighbourhood on top of a hill. Very easy to access the schloss and take the funicular to downtown. The main building, art nouveau villa is combined with an extension from later period, perhaps 1960. This extension where we...
