We stayed one night on our way from Germany to France. The room we stayed was pretty large with a very nice view of all trees. The hotel is on a mountain and therefore a little bit far from city center (about 30 minutes walk). You may need a car.10-15 minutes walk to the castle. The staff was very friendly.... More

Spacious, silent room with good price, water heater, very good breakfast, 8-10 minutes walking to the castle ruins. City centre is far, the roads too narrow. Parking is free, but its only a few places for cars.

We visited Heidelberg on the way back from a trip further south. After a full day of Europa Park and a 100 mile trip through torrential rain we were pretty exhausted. To our surpise, our satnav guided us up the hill/mountain, over small and winding roads towards the hotel at what seems like the outskirts of the town. Arriving at... More

We stayed here for an overnight in Heidelberg. The staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke some English. The property was lovely, an easy walk to the castle and to Old Town. The breakfast was delicious and in a quaint dining room. Our room was spacious and comfortable...quiet too. We highly recommend this property.

1. We had a super large room ( room 36 ) would have to have been the largest in our long Eurpean trip. Not sure if all rooms are the same. 2. Location was well out of the old town, high on the hill that has the old castle and overlooks the town. You would need a car to get... More

A nice location , not so close from town. The parking space is also not quite big , there is extra park place a few steps far away . The room/bathroom , was no so clean and quite old. The breakfast was far away to be perfect. In conclusion we have quite money paid for one night and one breakfast :(

This was supposed to be a 4 star hotel!! What a joke!! Entrance during evening - wet, dark and cobbled. No assistance with luggage. One member of staff on duty trying to attend to everyone and everything. Bedroom - back out to cobbled courtyard and up marble staircase. Still no help with luggage and no lift! No dining facilities but... More

We got to the hotel after a long, rainy drive (2 couples), only to find that there was no parking available on-site, our rooms were not near each other and in the annex. We had a huge room - the best that could be said about the room. The furnishings need to be completely replaced. Everything is old and worn.... More

Perfect location: five-ten minute walk from Heidelberg Castle. The hotel is tucked away in the hillside. Very quite and beautiful area. There is not a lot of parking available though. It was a little pricey (above 100USD/night) but our room was very large and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was around 8 euros/person. There is a good selection of... More
