Tiny rooms, tiny bed with awful mattresses and pillows, tiny cupboard, very tiny bathrooms, no blackouts or shutters for the windows, no reception after 10 pm, no parking close by, but the smell of food through closed windows

The location of this hotel is perfect for visiting the old town. Not too difficult to find except for the entrance to the small area in front of the hotel where you can park to unload. Longer term parking is a few minutes away - 8€ a day for this hotel's guests. The hotel is very quaint with helpful receptionists....

We had a room facing the river, which gave us a great view during the day. Unfortunately at night it was lit up bright as day and there were only sheer curtains in the room. The location was great though! You can see the view below. The bed was also really firm and the street had some noise, so I...

The second time we have stayed at this unusual hotel. Situated above an open air restaurant right on the approach to Heidelberg's old bridge its position could not be better with views from the front rooms of the bridge and the river. The hotel has no connection with the restaurant and the approach through the tables, past the linen store...

We went to have dinner in this wonderful location. The food was great, friendly waiters and good price. We were glad to suggest to others this place. Also, I'm celiac and they were kind to help me in finding the best choice for my dinner.

We had nothing booked ahead in Heidelburg and ended up in this great little hotel as a last minute find. Our corner room overlooked the old bridge. Minutes to a local shop to buy cheese, chocolate and a bottle of wine and our evening of people watching from our room with a view was set! With windows open, the street...

Great location, steps from the river and great shopping area. Restaurant food is good, outdoor dining is fun for people-watching. We enjoyed the time there. Staff friendly, most speak English, and are attentive. Best part, though, is location, location, location.

Big sunny room with views of the Alte Bruck, flowering plants on the windowsills, clean, quiet, a little table and chairs to sit and eat/drink while taking in the view. Best part of hotel for me was Emma, resident rough coat Jack Russell Terrier.

A very old building (1717), a lot of history behind. Medieval scene. The room is very simple, and needs some refurbishing, at least. The bathroom is ok, but also can get some improvement, as window at shower room. The breakfast is great, very nice, served on table. The location is perfect, almost everything happens from there. People are very kind...

Best location. Situated on corner right adjacent to the famous old bridge. Unique thing is reception on first floor. Very friendly staff. Smooth check in and check out. Very basic room but bed not very comfortable and noisy as the place is normally crowded because of its touristic value. Clean bathroom. And while you are there, enjoy their restaurant.

“Rooms facing the old bridge have a great view but can be noisy due to tourists and traffic. No AC that I could see so, on a hot summer night, keeping your window open might lead to a sleepless night.”
