Stayed here with my adult son for one night on September 21, 2013. Paid 105 Euros, breakfast included. This room was classified as a double though the size of the bed made the classification questionable at best. Clean narrow digs with cable TV and a small but clean bathroom. Free wi-fi. Desk person; Alexandria was very capable. Spoke excellent English....

This was the first hotel we stayed in for our trip and it was SUCH a great experience! The hotel room was super cute and it had a beautiful patio/veranda with a table and chairs that we really enjoyed. We also woke up to church bells every morning, which was really nice. The breakfast was very simple, but definitely delicious....

Very nice hotel, especially for room than accommodated our family of 4 with teenagers. Great location in Old Town Heidelberg that’s walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and sights…including the castle. The front desk clerk, Daria was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Very nice breakfast that was included in our rate, with a very large assortment of quality items,...

Clean and basic hotel in the old town area where there are loads of restaurants and bars for you to enjoy. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. The shower was nice and powerful. Will stay again

I agree somethings are worn out, but not the key things. The benefit of being close to the city, but NOT next to the church bells made this positive!! The bed was comfortable and like most European pillows not like my pillow at home. The bathroom was clean, and the room was large. If it's going to be warm, make...

The hotel is beautiful from outside - but it needs an inside renovation ans stylechange regarding outdated colours and furniture. Remember to bargan on the price, - we got a 15 euro discount pr. night. Breakfast is nice and location good near the old city (eventhough the road is a bit noisy). Ask for a room with balcony..

This hotel needs updates - there I said it - but don't let that stop you from staying here. The building is very old- and it is beautiful! The view from our window was of the River Neckar and the lovely old pub/restaurant across the street. Wish we had the unit with the balcony it must have been an amazing...

This hotel gives a poor impression as others have commented. However, the carpet in the entrance is not so much worn out, dirty and old as a poor choice of colour (pink). The buildings are old and in need of complete refurbishment - one's first sight of a canopy above the street for with missing glass is hardly encouraging -...

We stayed here for a night while on a road trip from The Hague to The Black Forest in Germany. Since it was like a pit stop, we had very little time. Reached by 3 pm and we had to be on our way by noon the next day. The location is perfect for such a short stay - as...

We stayed at the Schonberger Hof to break up our trip from Australia to Spain and are so glad we did. Heidelberg is a beautiful town and easily accessible from Frankfurt - less than an hour door to door with TLS transfers. The Hotel is a charmig old guest house which feels like a house not a hotel. They knew...

“Room 16 was great! We loved the veranda...it was especially nice because we were vacationing with the people who we shared the veranda with, so we had easy access to each other's rooms. Keep this in mind if you book that room.”
