The hotel is right by the Neckar river and the location is perfect. The Alte Brücke is just meters away from the Hotel. You can also walk small distances to all the attractions in Heidelberg like Schloss, the Student Prison (Studentenkarzer), and walked along the Neckar river and across the Alte Brücke. We saw important historical buildings like the Haus...

I studied at the University of Heidelberg as an exchange student in 2003-04, so I know the city and its major attractions quite well. With this in mind, I've stayed in a great number of places around Heidelberg, and I can honestly say that the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten offers one of the best locations in the city for a very...

We stayed in the very comfortable townhouse associated with this hotel. Modern and updated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast available at the Hotel. Both Hotel and Townhouse located in the old town of Heidelberg, the best place to stay to see the castle and visit the sights and history of the town.

This hotel was very affordable, with a fantastic location. We were in a quadruple room for one night, and the hotel door literally opens to the river and famous bridge. The main shopping and food areas are just a few minutes walk. The hotel is a bit outdated, but I thought it added to the charm of being an older...

The hotel is beautifully located at the heart of the old town. I booked there and landed in their so-called annex, which is another hotel altogether, the Hotel Cafe Schnoesel, many doors away at the other end of the same city block. They say they own it and that should excuse their trick. As you might guess the room was...

Hotel is 2 miles from the train station. Cab ride cost about 12 euros and there was a taxi stand half a block away. The location in alstadt - old town was outstanding and across from the River Necktar. Stepping just a few feet from the hotel gave us a view of the castle. Many cafes and shopping areas nearby....

The location of the hotel was perfect for a river cruise, to walk to the downtown area, and also to walk to the castle. Beautiful view of the river from the room as well. Parking is provided just a short distance from the hotel for the additional cost of 10 Euro. The service was hit and miss..right when we arrived...

I was lodged in the guest house, about 100 meters from the Hotel. A terrific suite, perfect shower and amenities, good TV, nice beds, huge windows. Some noise from the street but who does not have noise today? Thomas the manager was terrific and helpful. Best location in town. Decent breakfast.!!!

This hotel is located right in the centre along the river Neckar. Location-wise you cannot get any better. All the shops, bars and restaurants are right next door. The hotel is run by very friendly people but is in desperate need of a complete refurbishment. The rooms are tired, tiles cracked in the bathroom. Carpets worn and need painting. The...

We stayed 4 nights. The room was spacious and quiet, but on the 3rd floor with no elevator, a problem if you have luggage or are tired from walking around. The view of the river was beautiful and the breakfast was fine. The best point of the hotel is Mr. Thomas at the reception, always helpful, kind and smiling. His...
