Not a nice place to stay. The staff were rude, the rooms have no carpet, only a see through curtain and cold. Reminds me of a cheap backpackers but charges a price of a real hotel. No lift so get ready to carry your bags up a few flights of stairs. Wifi very weak and kept dropping out. Not close...

Stayed here because of it's price and proximity to where our son is staying while doing a study abroad program in Freiburg. The price was reasonable. No frills, nothing fancy, not a lot of space but adequate. No toiletries in the bathroom, no air conditioning so you have to sleep with the windows open. The breakfast was great and included...

We stayed here for three nights during a tour of Germany and Switzerland. We chose this hotel as it was close to the centre of Freiburg and had secure parking for our bike. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Fantastic Italian restaurant next door plus a supermarket next door too. Few meters to tram stop to Freiburg town centre. Good breakfast...

We stayed here for a weekend whilst exploring Baden-Baden and it was a good choice. Very clean and comforfortable with friendly , knowledgeable staff. It was central with just a five minute walk to the tram stop. There are also parking spaces by the hotel too. So convenient. The breakfast was typically continental but fresh and well done. We had...

We stayed here for 5 nights and explored the area by car. There are free parking spots just outside the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel can be also very easily reached by a tram. It is in a rather quiet student neighborhood, and the town center and a nearby lake can be reached easily by foot or by...

The hotel is a bit tricky to reach, since it is located off the main roads, but still reasonably close enough to "Technische Fakultät/Messe" to reach it in about 15-20 minutes by foot. The reception is friendly and the room - as well as the rest of the hotel - made a spotless impression on me. The recent design is...

The aim of our visit was to enjoy the 2014Christmas market in Freibourg. The reception at the hotel was excellent, informative and exact. Everything inside was spotless, clean and light. The bedrooms were large and spacious, bathroom very correct. The linen and quilts are very comfy (outside temperature is 2°C). The breakfast is copious and correctly served. Free parking is...

We chose this hotel from traveller reviews and were not disappointed. Our room was a reasonable size, sparsely appointed but with a quirky edge. There were humorous sketches hung around the hotel, it was colourful, staff friendly especially Christina and the breakfast was very good, kept us going all day. Has free parking, tram stop around the corner that within...

Perfect place if you have a car and are making Freiburg your base for exploring the region. Stayed here two nights, in a single room, early October. The positives: - Very friendly staff- Specifically I want to mention Ena, who was most helpful in giving me tips about the region and information on little villages and things that tourists miss....

Ina behind the check-in desk was great. She shared some really nice local spots to visit that we never would have found otherwise. The rooms were really clean an no thrills. There isn't an elevator if that's important to you. The Italian restaurant next door is pretty good as well.
