Lovely chalet, in an ok location (10 mins walk to centre) made useable by daily shuttle service to slopes which was very good. Without this service we wouldn't stay this far from the slopes. Main issue here is the absolutely shocking food. Basic is fine but it was barley edible at times, we ate out most nights which wasn't ideal...

We came as a large group of 15, which we booked through Alpine Elements. Reading other reviews of this "hotel", I agree with Bruggy55 and Victoria B regarding their comments on the food and if the property was either a hotel or a chalet. e.g. The hotel did not offer a change of bed sheets or towels, you had to...

The Hotel Gellinote is marketed as Premium 4 Diamond on the Alpine Elements website. This might be the case when compared to other Alpine Elements accommodation. I am actually not too sure what Premium 4 Diamond is meant to be, but whatever it is my expectations were dashed. This is no better than a 3 star hotel in the UK...

We booked this holiday with Alpine Elements as a last minute Black Friday deal We still paid a reasonable amount of money and we expected a reasonable holiday. The staff I must say are fantastic everyone employed there works extremely hard and the Manager Mark we could not fault. The view was very nice to wake up to. It seems...

Our group of 14 has just returned from a fabulous 5 night stay at La Gelinotte. There have been some significant improvements since our visit 4 years ago with the lift, boot room, pool and sauna a wonderful addition. Food was tasty with plenty of choice for everyone. Rooms are traditional chalet style, well appointed with plenty of hot water!...

I have just got back from my stay in the Hotel La Gelinotte, I could not rave on enough about what a fantastic time we had during our visit. The staff were friendly and lovely, couldn't do enough for you. It felt like we were staying with family. Mark, Alan and James in particular made our stay feel so welcome,...

Taking care off us all from our arrival by taking a bags to our rooms and welcoming us with much needed coffee and biscuits. Our waiter Jenner had great humor and cared for our table through the week...

Bedrooms are basic, but all you need for a skiing trip: loads of hot water, comfy beds and fluffy robes. Good boot room with boot warmers. Bar and lounge area very cosy, with lots of separate spaces to make your own. Nice pool area. Good choice of food, mostly very good, excellent desserts. But what made our stay so special...

With a large group of 9 we were well looked after by all members of staff throughout our Christmas break. Our waiter, Jenner, was particularly caring, funny and attentive. We can't thank him enough for making our holiday fab. The hotel also offered a minibus shuttle to and back from the slope even on Christmas day. Particular thanks to Jack...
