I stayed here in the second week in December and the hotel was lovely. .. relaxed, easy going but professional and friendly. I had a ski injury on my first day. ..the staff were exceptionally helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty. The food was lovely, the wine plentiful and the hotel was very clean and warm.... More

Last 2 weeks in April are good value for Vdi but every other week massively overpriced given the tired hotel, food but mostly the vomiting. Child care ok but nowhere near as good as Esprit. Ski leading v good for piste skiing only. But leaves rather awkwardly if you drop off kids in crèche. I prefer to ski with the... More

Went to this Mark Warner hotel in Feb 2013, having taken family to similar holidays with Ski Esprit and Neilson. Hotel was a bit grubby, but ok. However, holiday was spoilt by poor childcare. Nannies did not engage with the children at all (ages 1, 4 and 6). For example, no help offered by nannies who stood by whilst my... More

The worst travel experience I have ever had. The pool was terrible and mouldy. The rooms tiny, holes in the carpet and bathrooms dirty and horrible. Very tired, in need of a renovation and rude and unfriendly staff.

This was our third trip to the Chalethotel Le Val d'Isere. The rooms are basic, and bathrooms smal alough modern. In general the hotel is a bit tired and could do with updating, but this is more than made up for by the helpful and friendly staff. The food was good and plentyful, and the restaurant staff were very accommodating.... More

This was our family's first Mark Warner holiday. Previous ski holidays have all been with Esprit Ski. We decided to try Mark Warner for a change as our preconceived option was that they were more expensive so should be a premium holiday experience. Upsides : Excellent staff, nothing too much trouble for them. Child care staff brilliant. Bathrooms modern and... More

Regular skiers, especially those with young children (the raison d'être for most Mark Warner customers) will know the importance of location on their holiday. In that regard, this hotel scores very, very highly. The views from the front-facing rooms are delightful and the main lifts just a few minutes walk away (top tip: take the Train Rouge shuttle bus that... More

Despite reading the early reports I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is what it is - a 3 star hotel but I thought the staff were great and the hotel was exactly what our group was looking for. Accomodation - We were a group of 4 guys and had one large room and an adjoining room which gave... More

This 'Mark Warner' hotel would have got a 10/10 for us, 30+ in our group and we were certainly catered for but the management was a little lacking, all of the staff were excellent but the lady manager, well, she could have done with some people skills and a little more of the nicer touch when being asked for something.... We stayed for a week at this Mark Warner 'chalet' hotel. It is not a chalet it is just a hotel run entirely by and for the clients of Mark Warner. It has 32 rooms, and our room (23) was clearly in need of a little tlc. The room is quite compact, and the wc is so tiny that any... More
