I stayed here a couple of weeks ago for a week, there were 15 of us so we were the biggest group in the chalet. Although we had had a few issues with Skiworld before we arrived, it was plain sailing once we got there. The chalet hosts were really lovely, fun and helpful, as was the resort host. They...

I stayed with ~30 friends for a week in February, most of us were there for skiing / snowboarding. The rooms were good - all were spacious and had quality bathing facilities, ours had a balcony that served as a fridge for beer etc. Wifi was accessible for free across the hotel, although it wasn't fast (you could view Facebook...

So having read the reviews on Chalet Lores I was a little dubious but I got a great deal for a week via Ski World so thought what the hell! I can honestly say I loved it! I don't know what some people are expecting from a traditional ski chalet, yes it's quirky, yes it's got more pine in it...

Hiya, having recently come back from Chalet Lores (9th Sat) I have fairly mixed reviews of it. The Chalet itself is alright, nothing great, but then again i didnt come here for the chalet! Cheap and cheerful, dated decor, electrics tripped a few times (due to Room 1's main lights). The communal room is well lit, fire blazing and with...

Have just left this chalet and arrived apprehensive after reading the reviews. On the whole the previous reviewers all have their points but I can say I had a great time here. Boot room; too small and crowded. Correct, but hey it's just a boot room. Cramped but does it's job. Rooms too small; Correct but you only spend time...

This tired, badly maintained chalet must originally have been a peaen to late 60's cool, with Aertex walls, stripped pine and bathrooms tiled in a particularly bilious shade of Channel crossing green. Sadly, however, it is now long overdue for demolition. The rooms were small, the carpets were thin and the electrics kept tripping out. Our bathroom was so small...

Had this place been dirt cheap I might not have had the gripes I did. The fact is that for only a modest uplift one can experience a vastly improved resource and on this basis alone I would struggle in any way to recommend this outfit.Everything was done for the convenience of the staff not the guests. To describe it as...

This was the worst organised, managed and serviced hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in and Skiworld are the most dis-organised, rudest and most hopeless company I have ever travelled with. Having arrived following an 18 hour coach journey, the stone steps were dangerously icy, yet staff had done nothing to de-ice them There was no-one to...

Chalet Lores has a retro 1970's feel. Location is good, on the main road in Val D'Isere next to a ski bus stop. The Skiworld team were helpful and the food was good. Plenty of hot water, but the electrics are a bit retro as well and sometimes trip out. The rooms with balcony are a good size for two...

This is a tired, shabby, poorly designed chalet that needs a total refurb. The lounge area is virtually unusable as it seems to be have been a former nightclub of some sorts.. When we were there, the general discomfort was exacerbated by a shortage of logs so public areas were also very cold. The bootroom is v small and needs...
