Our family of 4, kids ages 14 and 16 went skiing in Europe for the first time in March. We spent a great deal of time researching locations- where to go to get the best snow so late in the season. We then wanted the quintessential ski experience with a picture perfect village and a lovely hotel. We found it!...

Yes this place is beautifully presented. We had pre dinner drinks here but we were dissapointed to find there was cork in my partners wine. We complained but instead of a refund they bought us another one. We were unable to accept because we had a dinner appointment that we were on our way to and didn't really want any...

Our second year staying here with our two adult children. The hotel is very welcoming, nothing too much trouble, and the rooms spacious and beautifully decorated without some of the annoying gadgetry/lighting that so many hotels go in for. It feels like a boutique hotel without being small. Food in the dining room is very good, as it is in...

Open from the months of December to May, Le Blizzard Hotel and spa stands proudly in the heart of the village. One-hundred metres away from the mountains, slopes and ski lifts; a few steps away from a wonderful cafe ( Le dye ) that sells the most delicious, tangy raspberry tarts that I suggest to eat all day and a...

I visited hotel le blizzard with family and friends and was not disapointed. From the second we arrived to the minute we left nothing was too much trouble for the brilliant, helpful, smiling multilingual staff. The rooms where very pleasant and comfortable, we had suberb views of the mountain from our balcony which made our stay extra special. The hotel...

We came a few years ago and loved the bar at the Blizzard, so thought we'd head back there Upon arrival The bar still had a lovely cosy feel to it and we were glad we came back... We got seated straight away but then had to wait for 20 minutes for someone to take our order, whilst we watched...

Val D'isere in general is gorgeous, to say the least, and this beautiful, clean, cozy hotel is very busy and very private at the same time. Staff: very very friendly and would go out of their way to make guests happy. Location: in the middle of the city so perfect for all the apres-ski fun and is walking distance from...

I have been going to this hotel for a number of years after dinner for a relaxing drink. There is always a welcome from the bar staff and the bar manager who is quite a character with his specially made check trousers. The bar/ lounge area is old fashioned traditional themed with wooden beams, comfy sofas, log fire. Chillout music...

I go to this hotel every year for New Year. The service is great, everyone is welcoming and they go out of their way to make your stay happy. the hotel is next to the ski lifts and in the centre of Val D'sere so it's a great location. The breakfast is fantastic and they're relaxed on timing; we went...

My family have stayed in many hotels in Val d'sere over the years and recently we have gravitated to Les Barmes de L'ours. Until this year we had never tried Le Blizzard mainly because they were always full! However, we stayed for 7 nights over Christmas 2015 and we were totally taken by the hotel. Location is fantastic right on...
