Stayed here for 4 nights on business. Overall very satisfied with my stay. Lovely big rooms, quiet, comfortable bed. Breakfast pretty good, too, with both cooked breakfast and variety of cheese, cold meets, fruit salad and fruit, fresh bread and croissants available. The only thing I was missing was a fitness centre/swimming pool and for this reason might stay in...

Great location and very high standard. Staff helpful and friendly. Double glazed so there is no noise coming from outside. Loved the big walk in shower and separate toilet. Not much to complain at all, maybe only that there are stains on the carpet and hairdryer keep switching itself off but otherwise perfect place for city brake stay or business.

If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable hotel close (on top of) to Lyon Part Dieu Station, this is the perfect choice. Literally a minutes' walk from the Station. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good, with a good choice, just a little slow on refilling at busy...

The Mercure hotel was a real sanctuary for us. It is located right by the busy transport hub of Lyon part dieu but it is so quiet and peaceful. We were lucky to be staying during a quiet time midweek and were able to avail of an upgrade. Our suite was spacious with beautiful modern decor and had everything we...

We arrived by train at Gare Le Part Dieu from the French countryside and found the hotel just outside the station to the right on Rue de la Villette, an easy walk when dragging luggage. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was quite comfortable, clean and roomy. We didn't eat at the hotel, although there was pleasant looking restaurant....

I deliberately chose this Mercure hotel having stayed at a 3 different ones in Paris & Edinburgh in recent years, so by now equate this brand with a very good standard business or discerning tourist orientated product. This hotel was the most modern yet and if you arrive in Lyon by TGV at Part-Dieu Station you'd be daft to go...

Just a very small walk from the Gare but there was no outside noise when you are in the room. Excellent location. Reception were polite, extremely helpful and happy. Room had everything - nothing to find fault with. Breakfast staff were just wonderful, loved them. Nespresso machines at breakfast. The breakfast was the best we had in Europe - excellent...

From the moment we arrived at this hotel, I have been trying to come up with reasons why this hotel is rated 4-star. I can think of 2: 1) the shower is really efficient and well designed: plenty of water and does not leak; 2) sound insolation is excellent. You do not hear the street noise--the bus station is right...

I chose this hotel because a) Accor were having a good sale on and b) I wanted something close to Lyon Part Dieu station as I was traveling to/from Lyon on the Eurostar. The Mercure is one of three Accor-brand hotels in the same building and is right outside the station. As you exit on onto Rue de la Villette,...

Hotel was wonderful. Spacious rooms. Huge TV. Cordial staff although did not provide much guidance on parking;and specifically paying by automated machine prior to getting out despite multiple inquiries into the procedure. Convenient to Transportation. However, the mix of unsavory loiterers and people urinating (on far more than one occasion) in the short stretch between the Gare and Hotel was...
