I do not normally criticise hotels or restaurants too much but this hotel deserves criticism. The rooms are tiny and not well equipped. It was difficult to get to even though it is close to the station. And worst of all is the fact that it does not have a lift, so you have to drag your cases up a...

This hotel was a quick book using booking.com. It looked pretty decent from the photos online and thought it would do grand for just the one night. To be honest the hotel is in a great location, just a 3/4 min walk from Perrache metro station. It is also a short walk from the main shopping street. The room itself...

From the ouside, we were shocked and prepared for the worst. However, the staff is really nice, they speak English perfectly, and helped us with parking the car in the private garage next doors - they even made us a special price since we arrived at 5 p.m. and only stayed until 7 a.m. the next morning. There is no...

The rooms are cheap and not cheerful. The parking is extra, service for breakfast disorganised, carpets threadbare, and the room stank of sewerage because the traps in the tiny bathroom did not work. The toilet had no lid on it. And there is no air conditioning. I know it is 'cheap', but it really is awful and extremely basic. I...

I stayed here for 4 nights to watch the Euros. I'm going to start on a good point and then the rest are bad... When we arrived at the hotel the chap on the reception (night porter) was really nice and helpful. He checked up into the room and helped us several times with some questions that we had and...

It's an old 2 star French hotel in the middle of a large city so it's pretty much what was expected. Location is good. Room was small but clean but shower cubicle was very small. No lift but not a problem on 1st floor. Parking is secure only 2 doors away but at 14€ a day a bit on the...

It is a typical hotel close to a train station. It needs to be completely renovated. The front desk looks horrible, the hallway even worse: old and dusty carpet. No elevator. My bedroom was dusty and the bathroom was not well cleaned. Breakfast is regular and great front desk staff. Good location, but I am not planning to stay there...

Good area with nearby Metro station, staff pleasant and helpful. Undercover car parking next to hotel for 14 euros per night extra. No lift and we were on third floor. Generally the hotel although clean was a bit tatty. Our twin room had a double and a single bed, we slept well so they were obviously comfortable. Bath room small...

Staff were pleasant and helpful. Great location across a park from Train, tram and bus station. Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops. Loads of specialty stores and department stores. Close to produce markets along the river. But the hotel it self needs a major revamp. Starting with the stinky old stained red carpet in the corridors and the mould and...

Good location in the centre of Lyon not far from the motorway. Excellent value for money, friendly service, handy parking. Hotel decor outside the room old and in need of decoration, but room itself fine. Good WiFi. Overall a great one night family stop en route for the Alps.
