We were a group of 5 with Hilton Diamond membership booked for a stay over the New Year -sadly the hotel fell short of the standards expected of a Hilton.
For me, as a frequent international traveller, the first thing I do when unpacking is tune into CNN or equivalent, but there was nothing available unless you include the French News channel which I did not understand -I know, typical British, we dont speak foreign languages! I checked with reception who initially did not know what CNN was so that was not a good impression especially as i was told to tune in on my mobile phone. Albeit helpful it did not take away the fact that CNN/SKY/similar was not available.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a good sized desk but no USB ports that I could see. They are in need of modernisation as my friends who have stayed a few times said it's got dated and needs spruce up.
Many rooms have a view of Lake Geneva with balconies. The outdoor pool was obviously closed for the winter season but the covers (right next to the pool) had not been placed and the pool seemed to be full of debris. Not a pleasant sight.
On our first morning at breakfast they had run out of scrambled eggs (there was still 1hr left) but having made a bit of a fuss out of the blue we managed to get a plate for our table as well as an omelette. As it was 1st Jan I was not sure how they were going to get more for the next day?
The biggest dissappointment was the Club Lounge. Not only were the offerings meagre but on our second night it was not set up on time and was a good 30 minutes late when most people had arrived at 5pm expecting to have something to eat and drink. Tables were not cleared from the afternoon offering and food was left on the trolley going cold whilst staff ran off to get other things sorted -refer to pictures.
In fact, another Diamond member collared the Manager (Richard Cuello) and said "this is a joke".....
My gut feeling is that they were short staffed and sods law the hotel was 100% full so service etc... clearly suffered to the degree where even Richard was seen helping out.
I did manage to have a few words with Richard (nice chap and wish him all the best in his new role in Malta) but although I sympathise with his situation it does not take away the fact that the experience for guests fell short of that which we would normally expect especially when going away for a special New Years trip and all the premium expense that it incurs.

Had a great stay at this hotel that was enhanced by how helpful the front desk staff was, Paul in particular. The room was spacious with a tremendous view, though there were a few small deferred maintenance items like poor finish on the balcony rails, caulking in the bathroom, etc.. Nothing to complain too much about.
The breakfast was tremendous the first day (no crowd, friendly service, plentiful and widely varied food) and mediocre the second day because the hotel was understaffed. I can't hold this against them as everyone in the industry is. The quality of the food did not suffer, just its availability, and the staff remained friendly despite the crowd.
The spa was very clean but again some minor deferred maintenance items, many of which can be forgiven due to it being the offseason. Overall, a very positive experience at the facility.
The executive lounge was spotless clean, had an attentive staff, and was extremely well stocked. Great experience there.
I enjoyed my solo experience so much that I am booking a second stay with my wife!

14.08 we made a call to reservations for c-in 14.08 for 3 nights. We said on the phone 2 adults, one 2yo and i 1 month old. The lady told us only one room was available to make reservation asap.
the line got cut up, we were on the road, so we finished the reservation through their app.
After all day on the road ( were coming from Ireland...) we arrived at 18h and the Front Office lady said we were 4 and the room was up to 3 for "safty reasons".
We explained her that the baby can sleep with us, that we made he reservation told on the phone on the only room available as we were told.
She checked with F.O manage and said that we had to go. No more rooms availables and no way to stay on the reservation made.
It as middle august, all booked, and with 2 infants we were left on the street!!
we had to drive more hours to swtizerland to be able to sleep, with all the distress that this caused to us and more to the infants.
Up to today I am waiting for the reimbursment they told us they made at the moment, yesterday I had to call and they promise a confirmation email that i still havent recived.
HILTON EXPERIENCE? I have worked as a manager in FOur Seasons, that would have been unaceptable.

This is a standard hotel. The rooms are a good size with good views of the lake. The hotel is around a five minute walk to the boat across the lake and about a ten minute walk to the town centre. We stayed for three nights. Room service was good but the breakfast was €25 per person - go to the local bar five mins away for a good breakfast for a tenner!!

Hilton Evian is one of our favourite destinations, was “love at first sight”, so we kept coming back and we stayed always longer than initially planned. A perfect example of Hilton hospitality. Very polite, professional and friendly team and management. A very personal approach, it feels like a second home away from home. Buffet breakfast of good quality , enough choice, fresh products, served until 11.00 u, inside or outside on the beautiful terrace, plenty of space, clean and safe, very important especially in these times. Executive lounge even better than last year, love to relax on the roof top terrace with a glass of wine and a picture perfect lake view. The rooms also very clean and spacious, and the junior suites with lake view are wonderful. This is real holiday!

This hotel is really one of my all favorites hotels and Hilton brand specially.
Its location is really amazing on the leman lake and most rooms have a great view on the lake side.
The staff there are always always nice and helpful and smiling and they will do there best to make your stay as good as possible and this is not my first stay in this hotel.
Also the hotel is extremely clean and have all the facilities you need.
All in all this is one of the best hotels.

Mixed review of this hotel. I would have liked to select a “good” rating. On the positive side, hotel in a great location near the quays but set back far enough from the road not to be bothered by noise pollution. Very professional and friendly welcome. Parking located just below the hotel (16 euros per day). There is always availability a priori. Very large bedroom and quality king size bedding. Bathtub plus shower in the bathroom. Ironing board and iron. Very good breakfast served on the terrace but which mixes table service (sometimes) and buffet. It's a bit disruptive for hot drinks and the service can take longer than if you serve yourself. Two restaurants available linked to the hotel, not bad without being exceptional. This avoids going out in the evening after a long day. On the negative points, room which deserves a refresh: part of the walls are dirty (various marks), stains on the carpet and on one of the armchairs. The concrete "cap" of the terrace is difficult to see (peeling paint). The blackout curtain doesn't hide much (wake-up guaranteed by daybreak). The air conditioning is very old and makes a lot of noise even when you turn it off. A very unpleasant metallic clicking noise remains. Finally, no toothbrushes, low-end tea and coffee and an unstocked mini bar (not really understanding the house policy in this case). The gift on arrival is in fact a bottle of water which can be found almost everywhere today. In short, a little disappointed overall by the service of this hotel for such a prestigious brand but it remains a good stay.

I booked a special offer for a 1 night stay including dinner and breakfast via Agoda. My husband and I where very much looking forward to a short getaway. Arriving at the hotel yesterday afternoon, we were told quite rudely that contrary to what we thought, we only booked a room, without anything else and at that price we should not really expect more. Showing them the screen shot of the offer they first implied that anybody could make such a screenshot and later on, that they had nothing to do with Agoda, that it was their mistake and between them and me. All in all super unpleasant and not how we hoped to be received in a Hilton Hotel.
When I double checked the confirmation received by Agoda, it turned out that the offer was not correctly reflected. I then tried to contact Agoda. A sales rep told me that likely there was a mistake in the posting of the offer, and they would come back to me. Which they have not (so far). First time this happened to me with Agoda, despite that the Hilton employee claimed that had constant problems with them.
But the above is only part of the reason for the low rating: the hotel is tired looking, and as soon as one leaves the lobby, starting with the elevators, corridors and the room itself: everything is scuffed and dirty. Definitely not how the Hilton was in the past and wants to appear. I have seen nicer two star establishments. In the end the price was expensive for what we got and went through.

We stayed here for 4 nights and as a Diamond member were upgraded to a Junior suite. The room was spacious, but we found that the curtains didn't cut the light out early morning making it difficult to sleep and were surprised that only Nescafe is available in the room, I would have expected a Nespresso machine or something similar, and there was staining on the carpet, which looked like it could benefit from a deep clean. It also took us 2 days and 3 phone calls to get shower gel replenished in the separate shower, not what I'd expect.
There is a nice Spa with good facilities available, but the outdoor swimming pool has broken plastic edging in several places and a child cut their foot whilst we were present. This needs to be replaced before something more serious happens.
There is an executive lounge available which serves canapés and cocktails each evening, but we found the choice of canapés to be unusual at times with breakfast pastries on offer. Additionally, there are no toilets in the lounge meaning that you have to return to your room if required. The views however of Lac Leman from the rooftop area are spectacular.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, and if the issues that we encountered were rectified it would be a far better experience for all.

Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the spaciousness of the Junior suite, the Spa facilities, and the breathtaking views of Lac Leman from our rooftop. However, we sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced during your stay. Your feedback about the curtains and the in-room coffee options has been noted. We also regret the delay in replenishing the shower gel and will address this with our housekeeping team to prevent it from happening in the future. Concerning the outdoor swimming pool, we are truly sorry for the incident you witnessed. The safety and comfort of our guests are of utmost importance to us, and we have taken immediate steps to address the broken edging to prevent any further accidents.
