Second time staying at La Sapiniere & again what a fabulous holiday we had. We were a party of 8 who thoroughly enjoyed the food, staff were brilliant & nothing was too much trouble for them. Great location & spectacular views of Mont Blonc. Short walk from town center & ski bus just outside the door to take you to... More

Great value, good food, good location, friendly helpful staff, unbelievable views of mont blanc and the surrounding mountains. Ski lifts close enough to ski back to from brevent and flegere ski areas. Only a short walk in to the town centre for Apres ski and any other amenities, hotel bar with sky facilities if Apres wasn't on the cards. The... More

We were part of a family group of 28 who stayed at the hotel in January. The holiday had been booked for over a year and unfortunately there was a problem with one of the rooms when we arrived so it was suggested that two of our party would go to another hotel! Thankfully we were able to come to... More

We visited Chamonix last week in February 2015 and couldn't have asked for better hosts. As per the other reviews the team were amazing, lovely and couldn't do enough to help you. Even stopping in the town during their time off for a chat! Food was lovely couldn't fault it. Plenty choice at breakfast where you could eat to your... More

I loved this place so much, the staff make it such a amazing experience. The food was at a really high standard with lots of choice throughout your stay.If you do want to eat out the hotel is situated close to the town with many restaurants. The hotel is a little noisy with thin walls but nothing some earplugs wouldn't solve! Our room... More

This a Chalet Hotel with great access to the slopes of Brevent either by bus, or a short walk up the nursery slopes to the Gondola. The hotel is a bit tired but the ambience was relaxed warm and comfortable. Shelly and her team couldn't do enough for her guests and we thank them for a great week they gave... More

We're sorry that you felt let down by the faciltiies at the Sapiniere, but we do not advertise or price it as a luxury hotel and many guests are very satisfied overall. Your confirmation invoice shows the type of bedroom booked and, unless this is queried soon afterwards, we cannot move other guests from bedrooms which they may well have... More

We visited with our 21 year old son and all had a brilliant time. I agree with all the previous positive comments with regards to the food and the efficient and friendly service from the young staff, who really contributed to the enjoyment of our holiday. The hotel is on a quiet side road and we heard no traffic noise... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Arguably the best located hotel in Chamonix. The Savoy nursery slopes are literally just over the road from the hotel, from where the Savoy téléski lift whisks you up to the Brévent gondola, to access one of the best intermediate areas in the resort.Alternatively, the ski-bus to Chamonix's other ski areas stops just 50m away. The hotel's attractive dining room has semi-circular bay windows with stunning views of Mont Blanc. Here you will enjoy Inghams great choice of menus and complimentary quality wines for dinner. Inghams offer the conviviality of larger tables for chalet-style dining with your fellow guests, or the opportunity to dine à deux should you wish. The atmospheric lounge/bar welcomes you for your pre-dinner apéritif and canapés, or to relax after dinner over coffee and a night-cap ... more   less
