This little "mom n' pop" was absolutely amazing during our Tour du Mont Blanc. The rooms were nice, food was tasty, and you can't beet the view. I recommend the southern facing rooms the views are spectacular and you get the cool evening breeze. If I could give this place 6 stars I would.

We've been staying at this hotel every year for 15 years now, usually in winter but also in summer. This is a family-owned hotel and restaurant. Location in the Chamonix valley is excellent, within 15 minutes of Chamonix center by bus (free if staying at the hotel) and below the Balm ski domain. View of the valley to the south...

We stayed on a very wet night while doing tour du mont blanc. They turned heating up in our room so we'd be toasty and dry our kit. The owner was an amazing host, he served us an amazing dinner n was so attentive and so charming. the price we paid was exceptional value n very little more than some...

Have not been there for 16 years, did not call or anything... Jean-Paul, the owner immediately recognized me! How can you find fault with a place like that eh?! :-) Decor is not kitsch as someone said... it's still the original seventies decor, never changed. Newfangled stuff like computers, email, internet, WIFI... missing! But that might be just the ticket...

I succumbed to the temptations of the sun drenched terrace for lunch back in March and wasn't disappointed. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and efficient and the views across to the mountains and down the valley impressive. Prices were very reasonable so all in all a quiet and pleasant place for lunch. There's less hurly burly than...

Parts of my family have been going to the L'Olympique for over 35 years for a couple of weeks each summer so we are perhaps biased, but have a lot of positive experiences here. We love it. It is a family run business, and the whole family are extremely friendly and obliging and most speak excellent English and Italian, and...

This place should be a cult classic, the kind of place that exploring people seek out, then talk about afterwards. It's totally retro - because it's never been pimped up! - but totally clean with a dude of an owner, who is full of charm and character. His Dad was in the French Olympique team and he's really wry. The...
