Yes this was a convenient Hotel for the railway station and yes the owner was nice as was the breakfast room but the renovations hadn't reached my room (the one with the red cover) and oh it was so depressing. The walls were a nicotine colour , tired and chipped paint and a greyish net curtain, the bathroom was green...

Really friendly welcome to the hotel and our hosts went out of their way with free bikes, quickly arranged, to help our explorations. Rooms need updating but that seems to be the project and all was clean if a little shabby.

We were welcomed by the host family and their little bull dog. The room was simple yet perfect. The breakfast was delicious. The location was central. This hotel has no elevator but the open stairway was beautiful.

The hotel changed hands last year and is now owned by a young family in the process of upgrading it systematically. So far they have improved the breakfast room and food, and they are in the process of sorting the bedrooms one by one. The ones that are still waiting are perfectly clean, functional and comfortable - just a bit...

If you are passing through Aix, this is a great place to stay. It's clean, simple and very friendly. There are no lifts, so pack light. Oh yeah, check out the underground parking lot at the casino. It's a trip!

We stayed here as an end of holiday staton a journey back through Italy. We chose it because it was cheap and well located. I think we had been spoiled as we had stayed at some great hotels on our trip and this was the money saving last one. Do note it is a traditional old-school French B and B....

A lovely stay in Aix Les Bains made all the more wonderful by the fabulous owners of this hotel! Such warmth and friendliness, and always ready to help! We had a roof terrace leading out from our doors on the second floor that gave wonderful views of the mountains - as well as a little table to enjoy a drink...

The lady working at this hotel is extremely friendly and goes beyond what I've seen in any hotels I have stayed in before, let alone a cheap 2 stars such as this one. The hotel is an old building full of history and there is a picture of what it used to look like in 1885...what a change from traditional...

We stayed in a double room on the 1st (American 2nd) floor at the Hotel Annapolis which has a door open to a roof top terrace, where you can see the Chat du Dent mountain in the background and the train station in the foreground. It was no frills, but it was large and a great place to see fireworks from...
