My wife and I stayed here for three nights as we toured through Provence with a rental car. We were not disappointed. This was an excellent small hotel with a wonderful setting just outside St. Remy. The room was cute, clean, comfortable and the entire hotel very quiet due to the location. They offered a good (not great) buffet breakfast...

A small homely boutique hotel with easy access for St Remy restaurants and daily sightseeing. Staff are helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for luggage etc separate to sleeping area. Tranquil relaxing garden setting for breakfast and late afternoon drinks was an added bonus, Free onsite parking

We only stayed in Canto Cigalo for one night at the end of our visit to South of France. The hotel was really great - basic room but had everything you needed. The breakfast in the morning was really tasty and had plenty of pastries on offer - perfect for me! We managed to no doubt annoy the staff by...

We have stayed here a couple of times over the years. This main disadvantage of this hotel is it location being a 20-30 minute walk from the main town along quite a narrow road to reach the vast array of restaurants in the main town. On the plus side it situation in a large, calm and peaceful garden offers a...

Hotel Canto Cigalo is situated at some 1,5 kilometres from the centre of St Rémy de Provence. We had selected the hotel because it's got its own parking lot. It proved to be good value for our money: 80 euros for a double room/high season. Our room was on the first floor at the backside with view of Les Alpilles....

We spent 5 nights at Canto Cigalo the last week of May into first week of June. It is picturesque, welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed a room with a garden view on to the very pretty terrace where we enjoyed breakfast every day. The staff have that wonderful French way of being available yet unobtrusive - in fact, the whole...

We absolutely loved the character of the hotel. The room was pretty, en suite was clean and the windows opened onto the pretty terrace and garden. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We will no doubt return as we also think St Remy is one of the nicest little towns in provence. It's a little walk from...

The hotel is peaceful and picturesque, but an easy walk from the town square. A good value with good sized rooms and protected parking. We bought food in town and ate in the hotel garden one evening which was a delightful treat. We opted for the hotel breakfast which was very good. Would gladly return.

Absolutely delightful little hotel. Beautifully furnished and decorated, with lovely pool and terrace. Very French and very cute. Within walking distance of St Remy, an upmarket village with a good choice of bars and restaurants.

If you plan a stay between Avignon, Arles and Marseille, you should spent it at Canto Cigalo. This is a very charming hotel in St Rémy, the city of Van Gogh. The hotel is in a very calm setting, 10 minutes from the centre of St Remy, has a lovely garden, big well equipped rooms and very friendly and helpful...
