As this was my first time in the South of France, we had been recommended to stay her by the wedding party, as this was on their list of preferred hotels. We stayed a total of 3 nights. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

Hotel du Soleil... we consider it as our second home. Walking distance from the center of St-Remy with plenty of shops and restaurants. We consider it an advantage that the hotel has no restaurant, only (a very complete) breakfast is served. So you can explore the plenty of provencal restaurants in the city. The rooms are very clean and recently...

We had flown in from NZ landed in Marseilles and drove up to The hotel in under an hour. Stayed three nights and got over our jet lag. Have done this on four previous occasions when we come over to visit family. Find this a great little hotel good facilities and an easy walk into the village with abundance of...

The hotel is located very close to city center but still in a quite area . It has a very large private yard ( no problem with parking). There are different small buildings all of them keeping the Provençal style . There is one where you have the option of choosing a ground floor room with a small patio. The...

This was a wonderful hotel walking distance to everything you need in St Remy. It is set back off the street in a beautiful courtyard which provides quiet and peacefulness. A pool and garden enhances the courtyard and is welcome after a hot day of touring Provence. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are modern. There was not an...

We discovered this hotel whilst on a walking tour of Provence in 2012 and vowed to return. What a find. This hotel is located in the beautiful French village of St Remy de Provence. Our plan was to take an easy TGV ride from Paris Gare de Lyon to Avignon and collect a rental car. This was completed with ease....

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights with a 14 month old toddler. Special thanks to Doris who arranged for us a large room with a private terrace knowing that we are coming with a baby. There are many positive things to say about this place: - Excellent location to discover St Remy and to use it as a...

We stayed 4 nights. The rooms were well maintained and there was plenty of parking. There is a gate that is locked at 8 pm for more security. There is a swimming pool which is also closed at 8 pm. The location of the hotel is central for doing day trips around the area. I would definitely recommend it.

Several years ago I had stayed at Hotel du Soleill when it was undergoing renovation. It had a long way to go. Early this year I reserved 4 nights paying the total in advance. I became ill and had to return from France early. I gave the hotel more than two weeks notice. I received no response to multiple emails,...

Madame, You reserved 6 nights in our hotel (67,50 euros per night = 405 euros for your stay - and not 800 euros as you say). This discount tariff was not voidable and could not be modified. You called us to modify the reservation - and we acceped exceptionally - than you canceled definitly. In June you come to our...

Overall, the hotel was very nice and I would stay again. The town of Saint Remy is beautiful, has several excellent restaurants, and good sightseeing nearby. The Van Gogh hospital is a must-see even if you aren't an avid art enthusiast. The rooms were very nice and updated with provincial furnishings. The pool was small but adequate for cooling off...
