Brilliant value, especially for the fab location right by the old port. Our room was clean, air conditioned and the free Wi-Fi was a welcome touch. Very friendly and bilingual owner. For a short stay we wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Convenient location close to port and central areas. Looked poor inside and the first impression of the room was horrible. Extremely basic lacked important stuff (e.g wardrobe). Gives the idea of a place to crash just for a night. After we got used to it it was ok and since was very good located we left with a positive feeling.

It´s a basic hotel, but equipped with everything you need for a short stay in Marseille. Perfect location right in the Old Port but in one of the back streets far enough from the late night bars and restaurants. The staff was very kind and helpful, with an special mention for Laurent who gave us a lot of useful tips...

Excellent location just yards from the iconic Vieux Port in Marseille. Metro station [Vieux Port] is just metres away, as are scores of bars and restaurants and boat trips around the harbour. The hotel is small, accessed by stairs to Reception on the first floor. Receptionist was helpful. Rooms and bathrooms are somewhat cramped, but are impeccably clean, and the...

Good budget hotel in an excellent location just a block away from the old (Vieux) port. Paid about £150 for 2 nights stay. Really easy to get to from the main station; we took the metro which only took about 5 minutes and drops you off right in the centre of the Vieux port. The staff on the front desk...

Excellent location at Vieux Port. No complaints at all about Staff, WiFi, Bathroom, cleanliness etc But otherwise it was quite basic, almost a hostel. It didn't even have a closet to hang your shirts and jacket. Paying 90 euros/night was certainly not a budget .

The mattress are terrible and the guy in the front desk was not nice. The rooms are OK, and that is it. The street where it is located is too dark at nite and it feels dangerous. The douche has no place to put the hand shower or the soap. Definitely not the best experience.

I spent three nights at Europe Hotel September 2013 and was very impressed with the service, facilities, and cleanliness of the room. It was a little small but well set out, with TV (all 'freeview' channels available), aircon and a well-appointed shower room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is a bit basic but the real selling-point is...

It's a trade-off. The hotel is at a nice location which is a few minutes of walk away from the metro and the old port, the service was friendly. However, the room is pretty small, the building was old. We paid 100 euro for a room, with which an ibis would make a much better choice.
