for the price we paid for this accommodation, we had the best price value ever. Central location, excellent customer service, top roof terrace & a suitable breakfast. My mum and I had a great stay. We had trouble to arrive in Marseille cause of the strikes, but the hotel dealt with it amazingly.

Hermes is a half-block away from the northern (and quieter) side of Marseille's old port. Most of the rooms have a lateral view of the port, if you lean out the window. Rooms are very simple but clean and comfortable, and the insulated windows exclude most traffic noise. The breakfast is satisfactory and there is free wifi. I have used...

We stayed in this hotel at the very end of our summer trip. The staff here could not be more helpful- the ladies at reception were so helpful and friendly and the man in the evening was great as well, providing us with wine glasses as well as plates and cutlery for our supper. We had a terrace room which...

We stayed here Summer 2013, and it was great. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Excellent location with a fantastic rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the old port. We took our breakfast (which was good) up to the roof in the morning, and then enjoyed the views at night with a bottle of wine - the...

We were able to enjoy the fantastic view from the hotel's 'honeymoon' room at the top of the building. I doubt you can find a better view of Marseille's old harbour and beyond. It was especially nice to be able to take our (excellent value) breakfast on to our terrace in the morning sunshine. The room itself was rather basic...

The location of the hotel is fantastic as it's next to the port, close to attractions, eateries, convenience shops and shopping strip. We were given the high floor room, level 5, we asked for and it came with a partial view of the lovely port, Notre dame and Fort Nicholas. We love the view! The room was clean and bed...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in May 2014. The hotel has a wonderful situation just a few minutes from the metro and just off the harbor's boardwalk. The most amazing thing about this hotel is roof top terrace with its stunning view of the cathedral and harbor. A must is to bring up a beverage at sunset...

We stayed here for two nights in Jan 2014, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the harbor, and all the fun locations. The metro is very close by. The room is small but a good size for France. The decor is Ikea-ish. The room was very clean. It can accommodate one big suitcase....

Stayed here in late June 2013 for only one night unfortunately. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is superb and is right on the harbour so plenty of restaurants & cafes only metres away. The terrace area on top of the hotel is worth spending some time at any time of the day. Could...

I stayed in the hotel twice, 5 night overall (in the same room). Location coudn't be better right on the old harbor (Vieux port). I slept on the first floor with a partial view to the port. The room was very small but there was enough place to one big suitcase and a place to hang the coat. In addtion,...
