You need to like the funky style and accept high prices during high season in St Tropez. If you do, you will like it - except if you are claustrophobic. The rooms are really tiny: there is no separate bathroom and there is not even enough space in the toilet room (or is it a cupboard) to turn around? Anyhow,... More

It is a cosy bedroom & not a hotel room. These hotels have a purpose, very quite, very pleasant, very clean They park your car for €20 a day which is a bonus in St Tropez. 2 minutes walk to the town centre, just perfect. We loved it.

Although several reviews described the rooms as small or tiny, we were still shocked at how tiny they are. The room has a bed, with a sink, and on one corner there is the shower (with a glass door) and on another corner there is a toilet with a door. The lighting in the room is poor. But the rooms... I stayed at this boutique hotel during Christmas and thought it was great. I am passionate about fashion, photography and design, I could not choose better than a dip in the 50s. all the staff, the Director Olivier, were always helpful and made me feel right at home! We'll be back soon .. I hope in the spring

Only if you have no choice or low budget. The rooms are really tiny but acceptable for the prices of St Tropez. The location is convenient to the center. The front side (Citadel) is noisy. The advantage- They have parking. The staff is very friendly and the service is good.

I stayed at the Ermitage hotel just for the weekend of Bastille Day, and it was really nice. The hotel is situated very central, just a 5minute walk to Place des Lices and right next to the Byblos Hotel. Though its central location, you still feel the presence of nature with the great view on the terrace, and we had... More

In town for a wedding in late September so beginning of off-season. Hotel was very empty; we likely were the only guests for Sunday night and saw another couple staying Friday / Saturday night. First issue: downstairs of the hotel (near staircase) smelled badly of urine throughout the entire time. Not sure what went wrong there. Second issue: coming home... More

Though a renovated building, it had no sound-proofing, allowing to hear your neighbours and of course all the music from the bar at the hotel's ground floor. The manager was realy rude when asked to turn low the music at 02.30 am and informed us that we could leave the hotel if we could not sleep!

I read a number of these reviews before we arrived and was somewhat worried given the negative trend. The actual hotel could not have been further away from these reviews; it was great and my boyfriend and I both loved it. We pulled up to the driveway and asked where we should park...right out front. You leave your key and... More
