The hotel is old, not renovated, the stairs to the hotel simply terrible-see the photo. The rooms are dirty and you have to pay in advance. The shower works so so. The only advantage is the location and terrace

Not your standard hotel experience, quirky is definitely the word! The most helpful and welcoming proprietor i have ever come across gave us lots of local information and tips on things we could do or see. The room had air con and was spotlessly clean, although quite sparse. It was very small though, and the bathroom was tiny - as...

I stay here a lot- I particularly love the communal terrace overlooking the promenade d'anglais and the fact that the old town is right in front of you when you leave the building. Best of both worlds. Staff is so friendly. Rooms are basic but fine. It is small and fills up quickly, so be sure to book early.

After reading the reviews before we arrived I was intrigued by the often used description of "quirky" however I now understand. I do mean that in a good way. The hotel is situated on the 3rd floor of an old building in the heart of the old town. The area outside is pedestrianised so you won't get dropped of right...

The folk running this beautiful quirky place are the friendliest people in the world! Fantastic location. It really is the friendly lovely people that make you want to go back to a place. Marion and Sonia, what lovely lovely people. I am definitely planning to visit again. Hopefully they are coming to Australia to stay with everyone in our group...

This hotel has the best location right near the opera house beach and flower market. The ocean view common terrace was simply spectacular. The proprietor spoke fluent English and was super helpful and friendly. The room was really spacious and airy complete with a lovely balcony and fridge stove. The wifi was a little annoying as you had to keep signing in....

This is NOT a 5 star hotle with all of the extra facilities that you get....gym, restaurants, sauna, consierge, parking, etc etc. I just wanted a simple hotel, right in the heart of things, good and clean, good WiFi, etc. And fairly inexpensive of course. Hotel Cresp has exceeded my expectations....right in the old town of Nice, you fall outside...

My room was in front of the beach, me and my wife was very happy. the only thing was that the room was small and its impossible to find free parking nearby. the hotel owner is very friendly. the hotel has beautiful view but you might get lost before you arrive because of the road

You could probably not get a more central place to stay in Nice than Cresp. It is on the second floor right next door to Nice's opera. From the terrac,e you have a 180 degree view of the Mediterranean. The Cresp is probably a converted, big bourgeois apartment. The conversion seems to have been performed by amateur architects, builders and...

This hotel is in a wonderful location. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, and the hotel is right next to restaurants and other cute cafes. The interiors are clean and neat. It is a family run hotel. I found the biggest disadvantage to be access to the hotel itself - each room is only assigned one key to access...
