Amazing value for a 2-star hotel. The staff were unbelievably helpful & pleasant. The room although not huge was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed, air conditioning & modern ensuite. We were pleased we had requested a quiet room when booking, as the hotel was in the Rue Massena, a lively pedestrianised street with shops & restaurants. The location...

The hotel is in a great part of town, in the "new" section, but right on Rue Massena, which is a lovely pedestrian only street, and it's really close to the old town (Vieux Nice). However, my very clean, simple, sparse I would even say, small (all okay with me!) room was on the first floor, just a mini hallway...

Very nice and clean hotel in a great area - right in the middle of the main pedestrian street, 5 min from the beach and promenade. Staff is very helpful and friendly. WiFi is available for just 3 Euros. Rooms are very basic - just to fit 2 single beds, and a mini-table, which is hard do use since there...

We stayed at Hotel Regence in July 2009, I found it quite hard to find accommodation for that time of year in Nice within our budget - it was definitely a relief when we arrived to find it was very clean, tidy and a great location. Right in the middle of one of the main shopping streets, we found we...

We stayed at the Hotel Regence for one night before we returned to the US and were very impressed. The location is excellent - on the pedestrian Rue Massena, a couple of blocks up from the Promenade des Anglais and near the Place Massena. The public areas of the hotel were very nicely furnished and the desk staff were very...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. We really enjoyed the location: very close to old Nice, and the beach, but still an easy 20 minute walk to/from the train station. Although this hotel is on an active pedestrian street with lots of people, music, shops, etc. we heard no noise during the night - a HUGE plus. The...

Stayed there for 8 nights in July for my honeymoon....it ticked all the boxes, we had room at front of the hotel and although u could hear the street noise it didnt bother me in the slightest. Our 4.5year old joined us on night 5, she came over with my sis and her husband, my daughter stayed in our room...

Stayed 4 nights in August based on TripAdvisor reviews and found it to be excellent value for money. Must admit upon arrival I was a bit shocked at how basic "basic" actually is - but you can't beat the location and it had everything we needed. The air con was an absolute blessing as Nice in summer is a lot...

If you are not into spending a lot of money, this hotel is a good one. The front desk staff are helpful and all speak English. The rooms are clean but very simple. We stayed there six nights. My only negative comment is with the breakfast. The bread was fresh, but I have could have done without the beverage machine....
