My 3 friends and I stayed for my 65th Birthday in rooms 407 and 408, we chose this hotel because of the good reviews. The staff were all very helpful and spoke good English and the location was perfect. The downside was that we were all badly bitten during the night by little black flies a kind of mosquito. In many ways, the Hotel Boreal is a typical 3 star hotel. The rooms are functional, clean, and a little worn out. By North American standards, the room is on the smaller size, but for Europe, it is pretty standard. That said, we were able to fit our 7-month old son's travel tent at the food of our bed and...

I just got back home after a 4 day stay at Hotel Boreal in Nice. I really enjoyed it there! The location of the hotel is great. You can walk anywhere, there's a supermarket and 2 small restaurants next door, and the main shopping street is a 2 minute walk away from the hotel. And though it's so central, it's...

Four of us were travelling and we managed to get our 5 nights away rescheduled 2 days later from 25th Sept to 30th Sept. Our room was quite small, but it didn't really matter as we weren't in Nice to lounge around our hotel room as we were only there for two nights. It did have everything you needed, but beware of thin walls and sagging pillows. Rooms aside, everything else was fantastic. The service at reception was very helpful and friendly. The location...

Small rooms, small beds. Amenities are basic, but serve their purpose. The bathrooms looked like they were recently renovated. Walls are very thin, but hotel isn't very loud at night. Walking distance (about 10-15 min) to the beach and Old Town Nice. Concierge was informative. Breakfast is below average, although they have various selections. Milk was served room temperature to...

Stayed for 4 nights with partner and friends - very clean and well maintained hotel. Bedrooms fairly small and basic but very clean and well docorated etc. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choice and very appetising. Hotel staff were very friendly and informative with some very good recommendations - including an excellent restaurant (Le Tir Bouchon in the 'old town'...

Room is basic but clean and location is very convenient. Close to railway station, tram stop just on the main road and that takes you to the bus station where the airport bus goes to as well as one to the station.

We stayed here for three nights. Hotel is located in a good spot just off Boulevard Dubouchage. Decor inside is a little dated but rooms were clean and tidy. No fridge or minibar. Wifi was painfully slow at times. Service at the front was outstanding. The little Italian trattoria next door is worth a look. If you are travelling by...

We were originally booked at Le Meridien, but our trip was postponed due to volcanic ash. We had to book here instead. Pros: it was quiet and the helpful people at the front desk spoke great English and recommended some good places to eat. Cons: older, not immaculately clean, breakfast was sub-par, rooms were basic with no personality. They provided...
