Visited for a long weekend with my son, hotel check in staff were pleasant and the hotel is lovely… pool area is nice but the pool was freezing (Expected in April I guess!). Beach area was closed I believe so didn’t get any use out of that. Room was very nice, and was cleaned everyday - could have been cleaned and tidied to a better standard I feel - tea and coffee was not replaced everyday, I think they just go in, mop, hover, make the bed, change the towels and that’s about it. Mini fridge in room didn’t work, so couldn’t buy own supplies which was annoying. Service on the rooftop restaurant / bar is horrendous! Twice we went up and staff didn’t even say hello! Both times we left after not being served. Hotel isn’t close to the town or many restaurants so we ordered room service twice - which was horrible and massively over priced! Most of it was left uneaten. Having to pay for such bad food pains me. Breakfast in the morning is better but again quite pricey. Best way to get into the centre is by tram which is located behind the hotel and is easy and cheap to use or and Uber is about €15 so not too bad! View from the room is great and location next to the beach is fab. So overall mixed feelings, we did enjoy our stay but think there needs to be some improvements with food quality and service.

This hotel is not what we expected from the Radisson Blu brand, the paint on the wall of our room was peeling and the staff, with exception of one lady at reception and the bar staff at the rooftop bar, came over as dismissive. The bathroom was up a small step, which having tripped over was covered by a towel for the rest of our stay, it is reasonably equipped but doesn’t have flannels (face cloths) so you will need to bring your own. There was a fridge and you do receive complimentary water (1 still, 1 sparkling) but only on your first day. They are not replenished after using.
Breakfast is buffet style and is reasonable. Despite a large number of English people staying in the hotel they managed to run out of English Breakfast Tea (not restocked) and on our first morning we gave our room number and the only reply we received from the greeter was okay. We were not informed that you could order eggs & pancakes a la carte. We learned this via other guests 3 days later!
We also learned further hotel information after randomly searching our TV as there isn’t a hotel or TV guide in the room.
We did not get offered porterage on arrival so glad the lifts were close by. Note if you want the Roof Top Bar it is on the 8th floor and only one lift goes there (the side with the single lift).
We were upgraded to this hotel and the only positive is that we cannot imagine what we would have got at the hotel originally booked through our tour company.

This Hotel has all the possibilities in the world to be very well ranked - and yet it only shows as 7/10 on booking. We booked one night and updated to superior room.
Corridor to room smelled heavily of tobacco smoke - and a tray outside a room had an ashtray. This is not ok 2024. All hotels should be non-smoking and those who violate should pay the decontamination. You some - you pay.
We want to the beach, which is an additional facility. The lady greeting us was all good. We got towels and sunbeds. We enjoyed the sun and the breeze and then thought we had a bit to eat. The male server threw plastic menus on the table and mumbled something and left - seeming extremely uninterested in any hospitality or any normal human interaction. We left.
Coming back to the room I walked barefoot. It felt grimy. So I did the hotel cleanliness test with a white towel with some water and soap. The towel showed black brown dirt stains - I am sure it hasn’t been washed/cleaned since a long time.
It is weird how lack of leadership and ambition can spoil a potentially great hotel. 7/10 is probably generous.

This hotel is located on the West side of the Promenade Des Anglais. While it has access to its own beach club, it is a ways away from the central part of the seafront and the city center. You can access the center via the tramway line which has a stop in the block behind the building but if you want to be near the old city, or able to walk to popular destinations this is not the hotel for you.

The hotel has very standard rooms. The rooms on the seafront side have terraces, but be aware that the noise levels from the traffic are high, especially on the lower floors.

The hotel has abominably bad service. That’s being generous. Multiple attempts to call reception or housekeeping went unanswered several days in a row. There is no concierge, even though there is a concierge desk and a phone button in the room to call the concierge (which no one answers). There is one bellman who pretends to be a concierge periodically by standing at that desk in his bellman uniform. When asked for restaurant recommendations and reservations he simply told us to go to the old town (“Vielle Ville”). Really?

The rooftop pool is a nice feature, but the service is awful. No one cleans up the beverage containers and waste generated during the day. We sat at the pool in the afternoon as the breeze blew soda cans, napkins, and other items all over the place. Want a towel? Be prepared to find the laundry cart and dig it out of there yourself. Service in the beach club is no better. It’s supposed to be open until 7 pm. At 6:15 the employees refuse to serve you or give you a towel.

There is a fitness center. It has a nice sauna and steam room, but very limited weight equipment. The resistance bands are worn out, the one yoga mat is filthy and worn. Despite the fact that an attendant walks in me out of there regularly, there are no towels for your work out - although there was a dispenser of disinfectant wipes! The blinds in the gym are broken and hanging by a thread.

This could be a Holiday Inn, but the price is too high.

Our expectation of a pleasant stay was shattered from the moment we checked in. Instead of the comfortable room we had booked, we were given the worst room in the hotel, located on the first floor directly above the entrance. Here are just a few of the appalling conditions we encountered: The room was unacceptably dirty, here were no bathrobes or slippers, the coffee machine was missing, there were no hygiene kits in the bathroom, the minibar was completely empty.

I approached the reception to request a different room that matched our booking. To my astonishment, I was told that there were no rooms available. However, as soon as I offered to pay extra, another room magically became available on the 4th floor, where everything was in order. As a result, I had to pay an additional 120 euros for the room that should have been provided to us initially.

It seems that the first room is specifically given to guests to force them to pay extra for decent conditions. This is unacceptable and does not align with the high standards of the Radisson Blu hotel chain, which we have always expected.

It’s also good to pay attention to these factors: the hotel is located very far from the center (40-50 min walk). The hotel is located near the airport, there is no noise from airplanes. parking for a fee (35 euros per day). beach for a fee (around 25 euros for entry). the pool is on the roof and it is very dirty.

Dear X7908TVdanielc, Thank you for sharing your experience with us, although I regret to learn about the disappointing start to your stay. I sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered upon check-in. It is unacceptable that the room provided did not meet our usual standards of cleanliness and amenities. I understand your frustration regarding the missing bathrobes, slippers, coffee machine, hygiene kits, and empty minibar. This does not reflect the high-quality experience we strive to provide to our guests. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the initial room assignment and the need to relocate. We aim to accommodate all guests according to their booked preferences, and I regret if this was not the case during your stay. Your feedback regarding the conditions of the first room has been noted seriously, and we will address this internally to prevent such occurrences in the future. Regarding your concerns about the hotel's location, amenities, and additional charges for parking and beach access, I appreciate your feedback. We will take this into consideration to better communicate these aspects to our guests in the future. Please be assured that your feedback is invaluable to us, and we will use it constructively to improve our services and ensure a more pleasant experience for our guests going forward. If there is anything else you would like to discuss or if you have any further feedback to share, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at ameni.souissi@radissonblu.com. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and provide you with a true Radisson Blu experience. Best regards, Ameni Souissi, Acting Front Office Manager– Radisson Blu Hotel, Nice

The main problem of the hotel is the staff, who are not interested in the guest, do not know the loyalty program well
I couldn’t order room service after several attempts - they simply never provided me with a menu in any form, either over the phone or at the reception. When I decided to call and order without a menu, the room service closed 10 minutes before they told me the end of accepting orders.
Room cleaning is very bad. On the first day they generally left dirty dishes and surfaces all over the room.
The loyalty program almost doesn't work there. The room they gave us was simple, definitely not of a high category. Small area, no desk.
Breakfast until 10. No warning.
There is no greeting on the TV and a reduced menu of Radisson services.
They refused water except for the first day - like it’s a gift and according to my loyalty card I’m not entitled to water
No one helped with luggage either at the pick-up or at the check-out.
There are still many minor flaws. The impression is bad.

Once in your life you must have been to Nice. I was there for a whole week and used the Radisson Blu as a starting point to dive into the French Riviera. The hotel is really great - right in the middle between the airport and the center of Nice. You can easily get there from the airport terminal to the Saint Hélène stop (immediately at the hotel) - the journey takes less than 15 minutes and I have rarely come to the hotel so relaxed by public transport.

Just then walk along the Promenade des Anglais and are in the middle of it in a comfortable 35 minutes. But even if you stay in or at the hotel; you enjoy every single minute.

I was a bit unsettled at first because the French are said to be snooty or even arrogant - but nothing like that. We were warmly welcomed and the staff also did everything they could to help us if there was a question.

Once or twice I asked for another soap bar - which I also received on request gladly from the girls and boys from housekeeping (this is often forgotten in hotels as I have already noticed from other houses - but this is only a comment and not a criticism; you can talk to each other and if you are friendly and ask nicely, everyone willingly helps you (Only we Germans are quite quick to criticize). It was more important to me that the rooms were made and how they were made - very long and very thorough.

We had a junior suite overlooking the bay and this was overall one of the nicest rooms I ever had in a hotel. This was only increased by visiting the rooftop restaurant on the hotel - where the fabulous pool and bar area are also located. The team of Eva Gonzales really took care of it warmly and the service in a corresponding professionalism that you would not expect everywhere. So we decided to come to dinner every night after eating out twice. The menu is small but fine and typical Mediterranean.

In front of the hotel is the private beach area with loungers, which can be conveniently reserved via a QR code (although for a fee - which is now typical for the local area). The area is only separated by the road, but you can easily cross it (transitions directly at the hotel). You also have the possibility to lie next to the delimited sunbed area on the pebble beach - the atmosphere is very casual everywhere.

Breakfast is on the ground floor in and Radisson typical very extensive with typical items. Staff will also serve individual dishes such as omelette and French toast etc. Again, I can say that anyone who still finds something to complain about here is just looking for something to criticize). All I have to say is thank you for the lovely stay.

I hope I can be back here at some other time. Now it's August and I'm still thinking back to the wonderful time in June when I visited Radisson Blu in Nice:-)

At the time when we arrived I was a bit disappointed by location of the hotel and the room that i received on the 1st day. However, the team provided maximum effort, attention, kindness and personal touch to change the room and to make our staying so cool that we wanted to prolong our stay. Super great view on the sea, cool beach and very super efficient staff, cosy and super clean rooms and the best service from the team. Bravo! And thank you so much for making our holidays ideal!

On arrival, we were told that the restaurant and bar were closed and if we wanted something to eat or drink to order from room service! Welcome. Our room was dark, small and tired, as it was also cold we reported to reception that the air-conditioning did not have any hot air only cold. Ah, we have not turned on the heating, no solution just tough luck.
In my opinion, this hotel would barely qualify for 2 stars ,the staff do not smile, greet you, or have any enthusiasm. Breakfast consists of a very limited menu and is unappetising. If you've not arrived and eaten by 10am they promptly clear everything away even if you've not eaten. We finally had some sun and went to the pool and rooftop restaurant. Two people serving ,no pool side service, queue up for drinks and at 4.45pm no food ,the restaurant is CLOSED!WHAT! Words fail me ,this is the worst Radisson Blu we have ever stayed at,by no means the standard one expects from this hotel group. It is expensive, not value for money . Do yourself a favour don't stay here. We won't ever again.

Our stay at Radisson Blu Nice came with a stunning view of the sea and promenade. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The dedicated beach access provided by Radisson also made swimming in the ocean very convenient.

However, there were a few drawbacks. The options at the rooftop restaurant were quite limited and not very appealing. Additionally, the shower heads in the rooms were either broken or of very poor quality, making showering a less than pleasant experience.

Overall, while the views, breakfast, and beach access were excellent, the rooftop dining options and shower facilities could use significant improvement.
