We chose this hotel because it is close to where our friends live. The hotel is a bit run down, but our room was clean and relatively comfortable. The bathroom lighting was pretty good and the bed was comfortable. I slept better than I usually do. We had room #2---not too many steps and no one above or below us....

Management response:

Thank you very much for your opinion and your time. The hotel has been renovated after your stay. We keep the place quite and nice but more confortable and modern, especially in the bathrooms. We would be delighted to see you again soon in our establishment.

A very charming hotel situated in an old villa. I immediately was taken back to the era just after the Russian revolution in the end of 1919 when a lot of Russians were exiled to France for protection. The hotel has been renovated and had nice, light bathrooms. You also get a roomy balcony for enjoying the evening after dinner....

I'm in Antibes/Juan-les-Pins a few times a year either for work or because my husband grew up here. We've stayed pretty much everywhere in town, but for the price nothing beats the Hotel Alexandra. It's lovely, comfortable, run by an incredibly sweet family, and it feels like home. Just a 5 minute walk to the free beaches and easy access...

So difficult to explain. I wouldn't call it a Hotel. Rather a family run B&B which does they're best to accommodate the guest. The house has its charm because its on the wonky rund down site. Lost splendor and the old school grandeur still reflects the hightimes of the Hotel. The owner and his wifes and daughter run everything. Which...

This hotel has a purely south spirit. The building has an genuine charm and the staff is really welcoming. The rooms were recently renovated (in may according to the manager) and really peaceful. Regarding to our different experiences in the south of France, this hotel will be one of our favourite. For a week-end or long stay, we will go...

We needed a local hotel for a three nights whilst we had some building work carried out at our apartment. What a mistake! We had pre-booked into what they called a superior room (it did have a balcony). We had a warm welcome on arrival, however things then just went downhill. The toilet was not clean or working. The bath...

Hotel Alexandra. Room not what I expected. Very disappointed. Booked a superior double through booking.com and the pictures looked fine. Got thr and the room has not been updated probably since the 1960s. Old carpet, old bed cracks in bathroom tiles awful. Did complain to the receptionist and she said it was a superior room because it had a balcony!it was...

I was looking forward to old fashioned charm but found a building in disrepair with none of the amenities listed on the booking sites. The owner was very rude and declared none of the problems were his fault. The owners told me they did not speak English, forcing me to use my high school French. There was a gaping hole...

Hotel Alexandra is a little gem three blocks back from the hustle and bustle of the seafront in Juan Les Pins. The building is beautiful and as soon as you walk into the hotel you sense an aura of peaceful relaxation. The rooms are nicely done, the breakfasts are good and the manager is a knowledgeable, smart and friendly man....

Staff attending you very friendly, breakfast very good (and at a still normal price). Very nice terrace. Location just perfect: close to city center, beach, public transportation. Rooms nice, as long as you avoid the ones without own toilet (likewise #16), Room #18 is nice, with both windows towards the back street instead of towards the main road. Definitely to...
