Spare and elegant we enjoyed a beautiful room with a king sized bed and a view of the sea. I like to sleep with fresh air, but with the sliding door open noise drifted in from La Croisette despite being the quieter winter month.
We now like to stay at the Grande Hotel on our visits to Cannes. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the staff very help and it could not be in a better location. My only criticism is the lack of a kettle in the room

No- and the beach is across the street, where they have sunbeds for rent for the day. First row is large chaises that fit 2-3 adults. Then row 2 and beyond is lounge chairs that are priced individually. The closer the row... More
No- and the beach is across the street, where they have sunbeds for rent for the day. First row is large chaises that fit 2-3 adults. Then row 2 and beyond is lounge chairs that are priced individually. The closer the row to the water, the more expensive. You can reserve ahead of time with concierge- they often sell out. Beach closes at 5 or 6- can't recall! Beach dining ends around 3:30.
