Recently we were in Costa Rica and visited Palmares, Costa Rica. We had the opportunity to stay in the Casa Marta Hotel. It was one of the best places we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The service within the hotel was excellent, providing us with everything that we needed. The staff was very nice and welcoming, and...

I enjoyed the stay very much and the breakfast and hospitality are great. It is also a short distance from downtown and several stores including the grocery. So it makes it easy to get around. William has created a one of a kind bed and breakfast. Treated like family. Rooms are comfortable. Balcony to sit in the evening is the breakfast area. Great service, when I asked if they had Coke for breakfast they said no, but went across the street to a store and bought one and got it back to me with my...

Our over night stay here was very pleasant. The beauty of this hotel is amazing. The pool was empty but we were not in need of a pool so it was okay. The room we stayed in was sparkling clean & has a small, cute little balcony. The wood used was the most beautiful I have ever seen. Breakfast &...

Palmares is a quaint little town with very friendly people and the staff at Casa Marta is no exception. The location is great and is a good mid-point between Arenal, and some of the activities on the pacific coast. You get a nice home-cooked breakfast each morning, and the cost per night can't be beat. I will definitely come back.

“All the rooms are very nice with a/c & hot water. I think William would have filled the pool if we asked but since we were just there overnight it was not necessary.”
