we stopped at La Fosse on our cycling tour of Normandy. Its near the summit of a fair hill, so the views are great, but it's a little challenging on the legs! A very friendly welcome, considerate touches (like delicious cake with the tea-making supplies!) and the sitting area (great for an evening relax) make this a super base for...

Located in a beautiful part of Normandy, this bed and breakfast accommodation was very rural and peaceful although the little local village was within walking distance. The room we stayed in was beautifully renovated with fantastic attention to detail and very luxurious. There was also a separate sitting and dining area which we used in the evening and our hosts...

When planning a bicycling trip this summer, the Logis in Vire that I wanted to stay at on the bike route was closed for August holiday, so I started exploring other interesting options. I discovered this small B&B owned by Brits Carole and Patrick Head, and there was just something about it that attracted me. I'm not sure that I...

There's not much else here to say that others haven't already, but if you're looking for accommodation in this area of Normandy that you know won't disappoint, then this is the place. Carole and Patrick are dream hosts. Our stay was connected to looking at properties in this area over a short 2-day period. We must have looked like what...

We can't remember staying in a better B&B. Everything about it was wonderful and the hosts, Carole and Patrick, are warm, engaging and extremely helpful, providing as much or as little information about the area (which is beautiful!) as you may need. Breakfast is very relaxed, very delicious, and served in their wonderful kitchen. Our bedroom at La Fosse was...

What can I say? I fell in love with this place and the 20th of September we are going back for a few nights. The owners are the most friendly persons you could imagine and their hospitality is great. You definately should try the dinner, and ofcourse the breakfast. I am sure you won't be disapointed and won't leave the...

This B&B is fantastic, I can't recommend it highly enough. The room was beautiful and clean, as was the bathroom. The views are breath taking. Having your own secure entrance is a plus for a B&B. Breakfast was great too, homemade granola and rhubarb compote. Home made cake available too. Carole and Pat are superb hosts.

Another trip to Normandy and another stay at La Fosse (one night only this time). Still as lovely and a must if you are in this part of the world. Fantastic location, views over rolling hills, sheep in the paddock. La Fosse is most certainly a five star B & B (and we stayed in a more expensive monoir nearer...

If you are looking for the most wonderful 'Homes & Gardens' experience in a beautiful part of Normandy then we couldn't recommend La Fosse bed & breakfast, Perriers-en-Beauficel, Sourdeval in Normandy more highly! My husband, myself and our 13 year old stayed there for a couple of nights in June and didn't want to leave. The old stone farm house...
