I’ll just second all the positive reviews you see here. Hotel has a great location and hosts were very helpful during our 4 night stay. If you haven’t stayed at a small family-run hotel this be a great opportunity. There are no group tours surging in and out, many of the breakfast items were made the owners, and there is...

We decided to stay here due to the great reviews on trip advisor and wanted a central location. We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were given great advice by the owners son who immediately made us feel welcome and gave us great tips of where to visit and two good restaurant recommendations - Vintage and New...

We stayed at this charming hotel for 5 days in April. It is the perfect location, a short walk from the main areas of Avignon. The room was quite comfortable and spotlessly clean. Its located on a very quiet street and we slept very well. The breakfast offered each morning is perfect with homemade yogurts, applesauce, cakes, and an assortment...

You could tell the owners really wanted to give good service. They gave recommendations without having to be asked. They freely made accommodation for my weak knee, again without being asked. The best breakfast in France, everything homemade and delicious. They generously made all arrangements for me to see a doctor.

Hotel de Garlande is a gem of a place, and the kind of small hotel France used to excel at. It's in a beautiful old building, minutes away from the vibrant heart of Avignon, but quiet and cool - a welcome retreat from the crowds and heat. The rooms aren't massive or luxurious, but comfortable and clean as a pin,...

(+) The hotel is beautifully modernised from a traditional Medieval (I guess) stone building. many of the rooms are built into the circular towers. (+) The hotel is in a quiet pedestrianised area minutes from the central square . (++) Both the proprietor and proprietress are extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. It is never too much trouble for them to...

The host is extremely personable, helpful, knowledgable. Excellent breakfast with unusual homemade cakes, including savory flavors. Right in the center of Avignon, too: ideal location. The host's father was in the breakfast room when we ate, and we had a good conversation with him also. Generally one of the warmest, more cordial hotels I've been in in France.

Reserved this for my parents and our 10 year. They quite enjoyed it. Owners very pleasant. Hotel conveniently situated, close to the train station and everything you'd like to visit. Very good deal for the cost.

I booked this hotel for one night and it is very well located: In the center of the city and close to everything. They don’t have parking (since they are located in pedestrian only area) but they give you a 20% discount for the parking at Palais de Papes. Once you are there you won’t need a car, you can...
